2 days later...

Eli walked down the halls as if he owned the place- which he did. He was in a good mood today as his organization was running smoothly once again. It was nice being in power of so much. People would do whatever you say without a second thought- it was wonderful. Elias spent so much time and effort into resurrecting Blackout and he was proud when it did and he became one of the most powerful and dangerous people in the country.

He didn't like upsets though... and Ryan with his friends were all upsets. He came upon the room holding Peyton and opened the door. She sat against the side wall- eyes closed. Her thigh was bleeding and her throat and body were bruised, no doubt from Hans. That German man can really beat.

"Have you thought about my offer?" Peyton opened her eyes and glared at Eli. He chuckled. "Still no?" Peyton didn't answer. He came up to her, knelt down, and tilted his head. "Have you given up already? I thought you might keep fighting till the end."

Peyton smirked barely before pushing her leg out at his and punching him the the gut. She rolled over and got up as quickly as possible before lunging for the clear doorway. She suddenly, slammed into something hard- or someone- knocking her back. Hans grabbed her throat again, which hurt even more because the bruises, and slammed her against the wall. Peyton gasped for breath and tried kicking him, but this man was concrete. Elias walked over and smoothed his suit jacket.

"We aren't so different, Peyton. We're both fighters, strong, and have goals. We have desires and determination. You and I are one of the same- survivors."

Peyton choked in the hands of Hans, but managed to get a few words out. "We are-.. nothing... alike."

"Hmm, but that's where your wrong. I gave Ryan the order to kill your family. Next thing I know, you..." Eli pointed at Peyton. "You survived and are out to get revenge. I was there watching you drag Ryan out of that apartment and into that barn to torture him. I was so curious about you because you have skills that I've never seen in anyone of that age. I let you live so that I could have this moment to tell you, I'm glad you're alive. Now..."

Hans dropped Peyton who was choking and gasping as Eli came and kicked her gut and then her bleeding thigh. She gasped in pain before Eli came down face to face with her. "Now, I can finish the job that Ryan failed, and kill you myself."

"Then do it," Peyton suddenly yelled at him. "If you want to kill me so badly, then do it Eli! What are you waiting for?"

"The proper time." Eli punched her and she fell to the side and groaned in pain. Both men left the room and not long after, Peyton passed out.

"Sir, I have the papers you requested." Elias took them and nodded for the lab scientist to leave. They were trying to create a new chemical that makes the enemy tell the truth for a limited time. It was going great as some vials were ready, but a few more tests were needed. Eli set the papers down on his desk and thought for a moment about what he needed for his plan to work. Taking out the government wasn't so easy. Suddenly, a guard came in.

"What is it," Elias asked.

"Sir, Ryan is at the front gates."

"Alone?"

"Yes, but with armed explosives. He's demanding to see you." Eli stood and walked out to the front gates with the guard. Sure enough, Ryan was standing there with bombs strapped to his chest and back and a detonator in his hand. His gun was on his back and a pistol in his belt.

"Ryan, what a surprise! What makes you come back here, alone?"

"You know exactly why, Elias!" Eli shook his head and sighed.

"Why do you care for her? You killed her family, shot her, and she tortured you. I see no friendship at all in there."

"I owe her a debt. Now give her up," Ryan demanded.

"She inside. If you even want to see her than you'll have to come in." Eli smirked when Ryan followed him inside reluctantly and after a moment of thinking.
