Deadly Alliance

21- Don't leave yet

Oliver Jones was not going to kill anyone here. He was trying his best to shock them and restrain the Blackout soldiers with the stun guns Jackson gave him. Jones was sure surprised that those 3 had convinced them to come and fight. It did take a long time, but finally the Chief gave in and started planning. 

Oliver had just handcuffed another soldier before looking up and scanning the area. Out of no where, he saw Ryan and Cole running across the warehouse towards someone. He looked closer and saw that Jackson was trying to do CPR on Peyton.

"Oh my go-" Jones cursed and got up to run after them. After dodging bullets and people, he finally got there. "What happened?"

"She was thrown into water and Hans fell on top of her," Jackson explained. Oliver didn't know who Hans was, but never asked. Ryan was pushing on her heart and water was pooled around them from Peyton and Jackson's clothes. Peyton wasn't responding in any way and her skin was a pale blue from the cold water surrounding them. After a few minutes, things started to die down and soldiers were restrained. Blackout was losing, thankfully, but there was still 2 problems- Peyton was dying and Eli was no where in sight.

"Come on, Peyton," Ryan growled. Jackson and Oliver watched in horror and Cole looked back with fear also. "Stay with me!" Her body shook every time Ryan beat her heart.

"Please, Peyton," Jones pleaded. Ryan cursed.

"Wake up!"

Peyton's body jerked and she coughed up water. Jones turned her on her side as the water finally left her system and she was able to breath again. She gasped for air and rolled on her back again with her eyes closed. Cole bent down as everyone was relieved she was alive. 

"Ow..." Peyton opened her eyes and looked around at the men surrounding her. She immediately knew what happened and tears formed in her eyes. "Thank you," she said in a soft voice while sitting up. Cole, Jackson, and Ryan all went in and hugged Peyton. She wrapped her arms around them as well.

Now, Oliver Jones was a detective. He wasn't a soldier or an assassin or a killer. He's seen death, rage, and revenge. But in all his time doing this job, he has never seen something like this. Ryan Case- the man that murdered Peyton Wrights family, and Peyton- who tortured him out of revenge, were hugging. The most unlikely friends. Peyton was a girl- no, Peyton was a woman who has had a rough couple past months.Cole and Jackson were just as relieved and happy as both Ryan and Peyton and they sat like that for a few more seconds before breaking apart. Peyton still had her injuries and was pretty weak, so they propped her up against the wall.

"Wait! There's Eli," she suddenly said. Everyone turned around and caught a glance of him leaving through the far doorway.  They hesitated leaving Peyton. "Don't worry about me, I'm fine, but hurry!"

With her approval, the 4 left and ran after the man who started all this. Going through the door, they all ran down the hall and turned the corner only to be met with a hand. It grabbed Ryan, ripping his gun out of his hand and pinned him to the ground so fast that no one had time to react. Eli held up a grenade in the poorly lit halls and threatened to blow it up. Ryan was struggling to get out, but Elias held him down tightly. His hair was ruffled and his face told them that right now, he was pissed off.

"Where's your little friend, huh? I hope she's dead. Useless anyways and so stubborn." 

"Peyton is worth more than 50 of you," Cole told him. They all had their guns trained on Eli, but couldn't shoot because then he would drop the grenade and kill them all.

"Is that so? And what are all you worth? Your nothing but an outcast and a disappointment."

"You're speaking of no one except yourself," Jones said.

"Ooh, you even brought the detective boy. How convenient." Oliver glared at Elias. "Now I'm going to walk away. If any of you even think about shooting or following me, I will throw this grenade at you without hesitation."

Eli stepped off Ryan and walked backwards down the hall- keeping an eye on them the whole time. After smirking when he got to the corner, he disarmed the bomb and turned to run, but something else happened that no one was suspecting.
