Chapter 54 ~ Excuse me

"Now for a lunch break before the afternoon festivities! See ya!" Present Mic announced just as everyone had already began exiting the stadium. People had already began trying to figure out how the last round will turn out.

"I'm sure Endeavor's son will win! Did you see that power last round?"

"Yeah but what about that girl who was neck and neck with him in the first round? Is my eyes playing me or does she have multiple quirks?"

"Multiple quirks? You're an idiot nobody has ever had multiple quirks before."

Y/N could hear what the people were saying as her and her friends walked to the cafeteria for lunch time. It was like grade school all over again. People had begun to notice her quirk advantage. She shook her head slightly choosing not to listen to what the people were saying. 

'I worked for this. I deserve this.' she thought to herself as her friends chatted away about some game or something she wasn't really paying attention to. 

"Hey Y/N?" Sero whispered into her ear as they began to enter the cafeteria, "Are you really okay? You have been spacing out left and right." 

"Yeah I'm fine why wouldn't I be?" Y/N quietly laughed it off. 

Sero gave her the side eye reading her. He could definitely tell something was bothering her but he decided not to press on and left it alone. 

As if by some telepathy Kaminari spun around on his heel facing Y/N. "Was I awesome out there or was I awesome!" He exclaimed. 

Sero silently thanked him for the much needed subject change. 

"You were so awesome Kami. They way you shocked everyone in one go!" Y/N exclaimed matching Kaminari's enthusiasm.

"Yeah it was all thanks to Todoroki though, he was the one that came up with the plan." Kaminari said a hint of disappointment hidden within his voice.

The group squeezed their way through the lunch line to where Mina had already been waiting for them saving them a spot in the line. 

They exchanged a few sorries to the people who had small protests for their line cutting. 

"Speaking of Todoroki," Y/N began as they reached where Mina was, "Mind telling me what the hell is going on."

Everyone started darting their eyes away from Y/N. All of them not knowing who should break the news to Y/N. Once again Kaminari came to save the day.

"Oo look at that, they have F/F (favorite food) as one of the options Y/N. Don't you love it so much?" He said a little too enthusiastically. 

Y/N narrowed her eyes at him already knowing what he was trying to pull. She wanted to say something but then kept her mouth shut internally deciding to ambush them again. 

The conversation drifted from the food choices to whether Kaminari could stick a fork into and outlet and fried to death. 

"I swear I can survive!" Kaminari said completely serious. 

"Ha sure you can." Sero doubted a bright smile on his face admiring Kaminari as he stood on his chair challenging everyone's doubts. 

"I will do it right now just to prove it!" 

"Oh gosh no Kaminari!" Momo said coming towards the group along with Jiro, Tsu and Uraraka, "We would hate for you to be proven wrong." 

"Yao-Momo your smart! Tell them my body can handle it!" Kaminari said leaning on the table closer to Momo. 

"Well, we would have to take into account your quirk and the voltage of the shock. I'm sure you would be able to withstand it but for the safety of everyone else I advise you don't try it." Momo lightly chuckled.
