Chapter 24 ~ Special Day

After I couple of days, I started to feel better about the whole Star situation. It was all thanks to the many new friends I had made at U.A. Sero and Kaminari walked with me to school and back every day so I wasn't alone. Mina and Momo were my best gal friends and they kept teasing me non stop about my 'date' no matter how many times I told them NOTHING HAPPENED. The best part of my days was when I got to tease the hell out of Bakugo. It was funny to see him rage and a teacher not immediately go to his side. Unlike back in middle school, the teachers here didn't make Bakugo their fave. Even Todoroki and I got closer ever since he bought me that cake. He still doesn't speak much but it was fine. He started saying Goodmorning to me every day or at least a good morning nod. On the days I sat with him and Momo at lunch he would actually show reactions to my jokes. Once I could have sworn, I saw him crack a smile. I WOULD BET MY LIFE ON IT! I texted him hello and he replied. It was a 'hello, have you finished your homework yet. I know you haven't.' text BUT IT WAS A REPLY. Today was a special day. Mr. Aizawa announced the other day that we will be doing a different type of hero training.

"For Heroics class today, we will be doing Rescue Training. Me along with two other teachers will be there to train you. Hurry and get suited up. We will be taking a bus since the training facility is pretty far off. You can wear your P.E uniform or your hero suit whatever is comfortable for you," Mr. Aizawa said as he clicked a button. The walls opened up revealing out suits in their suitcases.

Yes! No more repetitive runs and basic combat training. We are finally switching things up. I grabbed my suitcase and raced for the locker room to change. I already miss it so much! Can you blame me? I've only worn it once and since then it's been those boring P.E uniforms.

~Time Skip~

I made adjustments to my suit as we waited for the bus to round the corner. I checked each pocket of my utility belt to make sure I packed enough first aid. It is rescue training and I don't want to use my water since it's just training. 

As the bus came into view Iida announced, "IN ORDER TO GET EVERYONE SEATED SMOOTHLY, FILE TWO SINGLE FILE LINES ACCORDING TO YOUR NUMBER" 

Iida is really embracing his Class Rep position, isn't he? Does it really matter where we sit? We all lined up Sero was in front of me and Todoroki was behind me. 

"Hey, Todoroki are you excited?! I'm excited. I was getting really tired of all those basic combat training. Now we get to do real hero work. I wonder if there will be real victims or dummies. I hope they use real people but like not really hurt people but people you know."

"Your rambling Y/N," Todoroki said as I noticed the bus came to an abrupt stop. "I know I am just really excited. EEE! Finally, the fun stuff is about to begin. When we entered the bus it ended up not being the way Iida had planned so everyone just sat where they wanted.  

I sat in an empty window seat so I could nap and gain more energy beforehand. Plus, everyone knows window seats are way superior. 

"May I sit here"

I looked up to see Todoroki pointing at the seat next to mine and nodded a yes and motioned for him to sit down. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Mina staring at me with a smirk as she wiggled her eyebrows at me. Oh my fucking god. She will never let me live this one down.

As the bus started, I leaned my head back and allowed sleep to claim me. 

~Shoto's POV~

The bus started moving and Y/N was already fast asleep. The whole bus was chattering away about something or another and some were on their phones listening to music. Y/N had the right idea about sleeping. I leaned my head back on my seat waiting for sleep to claim me.
