"dinner"

chaerin wanted to gag at herself. she wore a tight black dress that went down to her knees.

the whole day, chaeyoung and her parents went out to the mall to buy the most useless things. of course, they didn't bring chaerin or even buy her anything.

chaerin did put on a bit of makeup, but not too much. the did put a full face of makeup, but her mom said she was trying to "over shine" chaeyoung.

"i'm done!" chaeyoung happily said as she entered the living room. her father and mother quickly got up to compliment her.

chaeyoung was wearing a long, dark blue dress. chaeyoung looked good in blue. chaeyoung looked good in everything. as much as chaerin hated to admit it, chaeyoung did look pretty.

"okay," their father said. "let's go now."

chaerin looked around the area they were driving in.

it looked a bit familiar.

the car turned towards a plaza.

all she knew was that she was going to a restaurant for a family dinner. mainly because they wanted to catch up with chaeyoung. chaerin is just the pet they are dragging along.

everyone got out of the car and made their way inside of the restaurant.

they went inside and their father started talking to the first person they were greeted with.

"hi," a woman appeared. her eyes landed on chaeyoung and lit up. "chaeyoung dear!"

chaeyoung smiled brightly, "auntie cece!"

the two immediately hugged each other and auntie cece walked chaeyoung towards their table. everyone else walked behind them.

everyone was leaded to a very big table, where there were more people sitting. everyone else took a seat.

chaeyoung sat next to chaerin, which made chaerin groan in annoyance.

"chaeyoung!!"
"hi jiwoo!"

"it's nice to see you chaeyoung."
"you too uncle."

"chaeyoung you look like a pretty princess!"
"aww, you're so cute! thank you!"

chaerin watched as everyone greeted chaeyoung with big smiles and compliments. chaerin looked down, feeling as if she was forgotten by her own family.

chaerin took the glass of water in front of her and chugged the entire thing down. chaeyoung looked at her sister with worry.

"ah chaerin!" auntie cece suddenly said, making chaerin's eyes slightly widen. "i didn't even see you earlier!"

"no one did apparently.." chaerin mumbled under her breath. "hi auntie cece."

auntie cece squinted her eyes as she looked at chaerin. "you look a lot like chaeyoung."

chaerin didn't know how she felt about that comment. but she took it as a compliment.
