UPDATE!!!

hello everyone!! it's yy :D

thank you all so much for reading bracelets and being so impatient. but, after much thinking, i have decided to discontinue this story.

i had an amazing plot for this story, and this story was not going to have a happy ending (😦). someone suggested to give you guys the main plot ideas (i forgot the user but it was in my announcements, thank you for the suggestion!) and you guys could picture it out yourselves!

i apologize for discontinuing this story. i appreciate the patience and understanding throughout the journey of my writing. thank you all for supporting bracelets!

here were my plot ideas:

- after chapter 10, chaerin and chaeyoung went to a spot they used to hangout when they were younger, chaeyoung opens up to chaerin, chaerin starts to understand chaeyoung.

- jay and chaerin hangout on the rooftop. they were making jokes and talking about things in their lives. conversation ends up getting personal. this moment makes chaerin feel something different towards jay.

- chaerin is still receiving mistreatment from her parents. she got into in argument with her mother, in where she was slapped. she resorted to jay's house, jay was not there, but his mother was, and she comforted her.

- at school, sunghoon and jake decide to bug chaerin, bugging her about jay and teasing her. this annoys chaerin, but she is starting to realize she might have something for jay.

- chaerin decides to initiate a hangout, or date, suggested by jake, with jay. she finds him after school in the front with another girl, leah. their conversation ended with a kiss on his cheek. chaerin never asked jay that day.

- chaerin called chaeyoung for advice. chaeyoung told her to be straightforward with jay, but chaerin didn't like the idea of it. but she was persuaded to, and she decided to soon.

- chaerin asked jay on a date (finally). they went to a nice restaurant, and they were planning to get bubble tea after. the date was a disaster, drinks being spilled, food being wrong, even the waiter was off. at the bubble tea store, chaerin saw minjee in a bush, as well as jake and sunghoon. the cherry on top: leah was also there.

- at the bubble tea store, the two confessed their feelings for each other. chaerin bought him a bracelet before hand. she said, "your bracelets were the first thing i liked about you, so i got you one." jay pulled out another bracelet, saying "i got you a bracelet too."

- at school, leah hated them. she always found ways to sabotage chaerin in any way. at one point, chaerin exploded with many different emotions, yelling at leah. the whole friend group turned against chaerin. everyone but jay.

- chaerin and jay went on many dates. many of them were disasters, but it's what made it fun. they said their first "i love you"s, had their k-drama moments, and pretended they were grocery shopping as a married couple.

- chaerin gets home one day, after a date. she sees boxes and bags everywhere. she questions her parents. her parents say they are moving to the states. chaerin snaps at them, asking them why they never discussed this with her and why it was so sudden. it turned into an argument. chaerin couldn't take it anymore and brought up every problem that they brought upon her, and that she had dealt with.

- chaerin didn't know how to tell jay. she was scared.  jay texted her with details of another date which was a week from now. she smiled with tears in her eyes, replying with an ok.

- the date was enjoyable. chaerin loved it. but she still did not know how to break the news. she even asked chaeyoung, but chaeyoung couldn't even give good advice. chaeyoung suggested long distance, but chaerin was scared.

- chaerin had a letter prepared, she never gave it to jay. the night she was leaving, she spotted leah. as much as she hated and did not trust leah, she knew what had to be done. she opened up to leah, and begged for her to give the envelope to jay. leah nodded her head, agreeing to give it to jay.

- on her flight to the USA, chaerin could not stop thinking about jay. she should have went to jay in person, she should have done the long distance. she didn't know what to do.

- leah, as promised, gives the envelope to jay. jay reads the letter from chaerin. tears in his eyes, he could not believe that chaerin did not do this in person. what else was in the envelope? a pink threaded bracelet. the bracelet he gave to her.

that's it! i was going to include a bonus chapter where they reunite in the states, and start over. but i didn't even finish the story :(.
