Craig was already in his mom's car waiting for me when I got to his house. His mom's new car that was. She had just gotten a brand new, bright red Jeep Cherokee like a week before. (Yes, even though I'm gay, I know my cars. It's just a boy thing I guess.)

He rolled down the window as I walked up to the driver's side. He quickly looked me up and down. My hair had been a mess per usual, I was covered in spilt coffee, my eyes were droopy, and I was freezing from head to toe.

"Must've been a rough first day, Mr. Tweak," he said while looking at the name tag on my chest.

"Yeah no shit, and don't call me that, asshole."

"I'm just messin' with ya, Mr. Tweak." I sighed loudly. We could both see my hot breath as it hung in the air. "Well don't just stand there like a dumb ass. Get in the car," he said while putting his window back up.

Annoyed, I walked around to the passenger side and jumped in. Craig watched me as I buckled my seat belt and nestled down into my jacket. I kept my eyes straight ahead of me so we didn't make eye contact. I was already nervous enough as it was, and I didn't want him to see my face get red, even though I probably could've just blamed it on the cold weather.

Wait a minute....he doesn't have his license.

"Wait, you can't drive. Oh hell no. You're not getting me into trouble."

Just before I could unbuckle my seatbelt, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet, tossing it over into my lap.

"I knew you'd say something about that. I just got my license a few days ago."

Oh, well maybe he can drive then.

"Well sorry. You never told me that you finally got it."

He frowned.

"Well you haven't been in school for the last couple of days to catch up on stuff. Not my fault."

"Not my fault either! My dad just died stupid," I giggled. "I kinda had to skip out on school."

Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't be laughing.

He looked away from me and out the window.

Yikes...

I looked down at his picture on his license. Of course he didn't even bother to smile in his photo. It looked like a literal mugshot.

"Wow really? N-no smile? You're such a buzzkill sometimes," I said while playfully pushing on his arm, trying to ease the tension.

He turned around and gave me a tiny grin as he reached down, grabbed ahold of the gearshift, and then put it in reverse.

"Well hopefully after tonight you won't think that way anymore," he mumbled as he backed out of the driveway.

I shot him a confused look.

"What do you mean?"

"We're gonna go have some fun Tweek."

"Dude its like 9 o'clock, and it's a Sunday night. Where in the hell are we gonna go and what are we gonna do?"

He put the car back into drive and slyly smirked at me.

"You'll see."

"Fucking Walmart? Seriously Craig?" I questioned as we pulled into the parking lot.
