You sat in Karls arm's watching episode after episode. You couldn't remember when you felt this at home. 

Karl got a Snapchat notification and checked his phone

"Who's that?"

"Sap, I'll text him later"

"What's he want"

"I don't know, I'm not opening it I'm with you right now"

"You can still text him, he's your best friend"

"Yeah...but I would rather cuddle and watch this with you"

"Ohh, ok?"

Really? He would? usually people would be begging to do something other then sit with you. Not that you hated being alone, but it was nice to just have some company. Especially someone who wanted to spend time with you.

You layed your head back on his chest and continued to watch adventure time. It was your favorite episode, the gender bent one. It reminded you of when you were a kid shipping prince bubblegum and marshal lee. Now you were 21 and watching it with your....... boyfriend? Was he your boyfriend?

"Hey Karl?"

"Yeah? What's up"

"What are...we?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like, where do we stand with each other?"

"What do you want to be?" He asked as if he was scared to say he wanted to be with you. "Well are we, dating or...?" You just wanted to be sure so you don't jump to a conclusion and make him uncomfortable, wait.....he fucked you. You facepalmed. He wouldn't be uncomfortable being your boyfriend. 

"Do you want to be?". Yeah you did. More then anything else in the world. "Yes Karl Jacobs. I do" you smiled and sat up placing your hand on his cheek and kissing his swollen lips softly. you pulled away and put your head back on his chest nuzzling into him. He raised an arm and brushed the hair out of your face planting a soft kiss on your forehead.

"I love you" he said while placing his head on top of yours. "I love you too" You responded as he pressed you up against him tighter. You smiled and looked back at the tv hoping this moment could last forever, but you knew it couldn't....sadly. All of the sudden Karls phone Started to Ring.

"Oh my god" Karl rolled his eyes and clicked answered the phone. "Hello?" Karl asked in an annoyed tone. You heard muffling from the other end of the phone. You've heard that voice before, but where? "Sap I'm kinda busy right now could I call you back?" Once again the muffled voice spoke but at least you knew who it was this time. "Ok BYYEEEEE mwah mwah mwah mwah" Karl blew kisses at his phone and hung up. That was adorable. He put his phone down and placed it beside him on the couch. He put his arm back around you and pulled you closer again. "What did he want?" You asked cocking your head up to him.

"He wanted to see if I wanted to go get coffee with him and clay later, but I don't really feel like it". He said as he nuzzled his head back on too of yours. "Karl you don't have to say no to your friends just because I'm here" you responded in a way of basically telling him he should have said yes. "Yeah but I just don't feel like changing right now, I'm still wearing my clothes from yesterday" he was right you didn't even notice he never changed or showered. He was still wearing his t shirt and black sweat pants. Showering would probably hurt because of his obviously swollen face and you could see his eye was starting to turn a bit purple. At least the swelling decreased a little on his top lip and cupid's bow area but you could imagine how bad the bruises hurt, not like bruises are new to you. He had a bit of dried blood on his nose and lip because of his busted lip, not to mention his nose was bleeding earlier.
