Road Trip pt ll

"there's something I've wanted to tell you.. I've just been too afraid of things changing if I tell you." Leo said. Thoughts scattered across my mind. I stood there looking at him waiting for him to tell me what he's wanted to tell me. He sorta looked down before talking. "Maya, I just want you to know, before I tell you. I love you and I don't want things to change." He said. For some reason that made me a little more nervous. I nodded, "okay, I love you too." I said softly. He paused for a minute. "Okay.. Maya I've been an actor for a while. I never told you.. because I liked the way you didn't know. I thought if you knew it may change things. It was new to see a girl who didn't know exactly who I was." He said. I was kind of just in shock, how did I not know he was an actor? I mean wouldn't I have heard of him? This was kind of hitting hard, I didn't really know what to say. I stood there and looked at him letting everything process in my mind. I wasn't really upset, I just didn't understand how I didn't know he was an actor and why he chose to date me over models who he's probably been around. "Maya? Please say something." Leo said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Sorry. I- I just don't understand how I didn't know about you being an actor. Why didn't you just tell me?" I asked. "I don't know, I guess I just liked how someone didn't just look at me as an actor." He said. I nodded to sign I understand. I do understand honestly, sometimes being famous and only being looked at as an actor can probably get tiring. Leo was looking at the ground like he felt bad. I finally spoke up. "I understand why you didn't wanna tell me. It's okay, just thank you for telling me now." I said reassuringly. His frown turned into a smile. "Thank you for understanding. I'm sorry it took me this long to tell you, but I'm relieved I got it off my chest." He replied. I nodded in agreement. "I'm happy you did too." I said. There was a silence. "so does this change anything between us? Are we okay?" He asked. "Yeah, of course we are." I replied sorta laughing.  he looked even more relieved as he sighed and wrapped his arms around me, I fell into his embrace and buried my face into his chest. He put his hand on my cheek and I looked up at him. "I love you Maya." He said gently in a whisper. I melted inside everytime he said those four words. Before I could even say anything back he kissed me and lifted me up, carrying me to the bed

I slowly stretched as the light from outside shine in my eyes. I felt Leo turn and wrap his arm around me. I smiled and ran my hand through his hair as he slightly groaned. "What time is it?" He asked. I looked down at my phone, 1:00pm. Leo sat up slowly. "jeez I didn't know we slept that long." He said while rubbing his eyes. I chuckled, "well it was like 3am when you were in that call with your dad." I said. I slowly got up and put on a black button up dress that went down to my knees. Leo put on a black t shirt and some blue jeans. No matter how casual he was he always looked so attractive. I went to the bathroom and brushed through my hair then put it in a ponytail. I felt hands grab my waisted and I jumped and gasped slightly. Leo softly chuckled behind me, "sorry" he said playfully into my ear. I rolled my eyes and smirked. "So we continue on our adventure to Arizona?" I asked. He nodded as we walked out of the hotel and to the car. It didn't take long before we finally made it, maybe an hour to and hour and a half. I was so relieved when we finally made it. I looked at leo who was already looking at me. "What?" I asked smirking. "Nothing. What do you think?" He asked as we parked at a bigger hotel suite that looked like a mansion. I gasped taking it all in. Everything was so pretty, it was pretty hot outside so I was relieved to get inside a building. He got the key as we made our way to our room. He opened the door and my eyes widened. The room was huge and had a balcony. I took in the view before turning to Leo and wrapping my arms around him. "thank you for taking me here." I said. He smiled, "of course." He sighed. We left the hotel and went out to eat and just drove around taking in new sights and having fun. I wanted this to never end.
