That kiss

I woke up the next morning and thoughts started running into my mind about what happened last night, that kiss. I turned my alarm off and laid back remembering its Saturday. I rubbed my eyes and smiled thinking about Leo, but then I wondered. Should I be happy? What if that kiss didnt really mean anything to him, I mean he is the hunk of the school. He's probably been with every girl, what if he thinks of me as every other girl? I stopped thinking when I heard mom yelling my name from downstairs. I got up and put on a black t shirt and a pair of light blue jeans before grabbing my phone and running down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and was quickly surprised when I looked at the table. Sitting there was Justin and next to him was.. Leo. Mom walked in with two plates of food in her hands and greeted me, "hey sweetheart, glad to see you're up" she said with a smile. I slowly sat down at the table across from Leo and looked at him with a confused look. Leo slightly smirked, "hey" he said with a slight wave. I slightly smiled back, "hey" I said while looking down at my food. "Leo came over and wanted to see you so I told him he could stay for breakfast." Mom said while eating and smiling. I slightly smiled in reply. We continued eating and mom just kept asking Leo questions about school, his parents, his favorite things to do. Finally we were done eating and mom let us go. We walked up to my room and he sat down on the bed and I sat next to him. Leo looked at me, I could tell he knew something was wrong. "Hey, is there something wrong?" He asked with a concerned look. I shook my head, "no, nothings wrong. Why?" I asked. "You've just been acting wierd today, like more quiet" he replied while looking at me. I put my hand on his shoulder, "I'm fine." Leo looked at me in the eyes and before I knew it he leaned in and his lips were crashing into mine, hard. He slowly pushed me down onto the bed while kissing down my neck. It was hard to do, but I muttered the words, "wait Leo" and gently pushed him off me. He looked at me confused, "what is it?" He asked. I thought about if I should tell him how I feel or not. I didnt want him to hate me or just stop coming around me. "Okay, there has been one thing bothering me." I said while looking down. "Okay? What is it?" Leo asked. "Its just that kiss. Did that actually mean anything? I mean you're the hotty of the school, I cant picture you actually wanting to be with someone like me." I finally said after debating. "So wait, you're asking if I'm using you?" Leo asked while kind of sounding shocked. I paused, "well yeah sorta, I mean why would you ever wanna actually be with me?" I asked. "Maya, you're not as bad as you make yourself out to be. I mean you're funny, and fun to be around. You're also actually really pretty." Leo replied. I couldnt help but smile a little. "I'm not as pretty as Ashley and her friends though." I replied. Leo rolled his eyes, "that's all they have thought Maya. Their looks. Their awful people. They're mean, selfish, and petty. You aren't." Leo said while grabbing my hand. "That's why I like you Maya." I smiled again, i could feel butterflies in my stomach while he looked into my eyes. "I like you too Leo." I said while gripping onto his hand. "I'm sorry. It's just ever since Jason, I've been more cautious with boys, especially the hot, popular ones like you." I said while looking down. Leo wrapped his arm around me, "I know, Jason was a jerk. But I wouldn't do that." He reassured me. I looked at him in the eyes as he leaned in and our lips connected again. I put my head into his chest, "does this mean we're dating?" I asked. "Yeah, I guess it does." Leo said while slightly chuckling. It felt so nice to just lay my head against his chest and close my eyes. I could hear his heartbeat and feel his chest lift from his breathing. Suddenly my phone started vibrating, I looked at the number, it was Jason.
