Chapter 20:

3rd person POV:

Jessica was an early bird. She always woke up early, checked her phone, and went down to make breakfast for Libby and Willow. So it was no surprise when Jess woke up at 6:05, rolled over, and grabbed her phone. What was a surprise was the message on the group chat with her and the rest of the cast.

It was from Willow.

Willow ☮: Hi guys. It's me. And this is the last thing you'll probably see or hear from me. When you wake up, I'll be dead. I just want to tell you guys, who have loved me for so long, treated me like your biological daughter, not some poor orphan that you just randomly picked up on the street, a couple of things. First, everything that happened was my fault, and not yours. So don't blame yourself. Second, tell Sophie, my girlfriend, that I love her. (if she's still alive.) Weird way to come out of the closet to you guys as a lesbian in my final message, but I needed to. Third, I love you all and will miss you. But I know that this was the right decision, and I hope that eventually, you will realize that too. If you want to have a funeral for me, you'll find me in the 2nd bathroom. The door's locked, and I don't know where the key is. Mama, I love you so much. Bye.

"No... No..." Jess panicked. Libby and Jupie were off at college, and Cat was applying. They could not have this happen to them. Her phone started buzzing. Suddenly, everyone was online.

Jess bolted off after she had let everyone in, and jiggled the doorknob to the bathroom. As she had expected, it was locked. She found the key and opened the door. Willow was lying on the ground, a half-empty bottle of pills on the ground. Ryan rushed up and felt her wrist. "Get the E.R. She's alive, but just barely. I'm having trouble finding her hearbeat." Evan calls 911, and everyone just stands there, praying. Paramedics come in, and look grim when they see Willow. "We'll do all we can Ma'am. But there's not much we can do." Jessica bursts into tears and the rest of the cast try to comfort her. She insists on coming with Willow to the hospital. Cat comes in, looking confused. "What's going on Mama?" Elle says through her silent sobs, "Willow commited sucide." Cat just stands there, seemingly unable to process what she just heard, then collapses onto the floor, sobbing as well. Jon calls Jupie, who's off in college, and tells her the news, everyone sobbing. Cat, who's now staring out of the window, and can see the ambulance speeding off, sirens blaring, says surprisingly clearly, "Goodbye Willow Amanda Keenan-Wynn. My third sister. I'll miss you." Everyone follows her and says, "Goodbye."
