The sound of swords clashing with each other could be heard from miles away. 2 swordsmen battling it out even though they have the same blood flowing in their veins. Normal people might say that this is utterly stupid, but if you see their faces right now, you might think that they are the crazy ones.
They are smiling, while in combat, nothing less. They enjoy the feeling of pain, the feeling of adrenaline flowing in their veins, constantly pushing themselves to fight to the death. They formed some sort of pleasure fighting one another, challenging to know who's best.
As they kept swinging their swords, clashing against each other, they could feel it. Damien was tired, really tired. His fatigue hit 70 a few minutes ago, but he kept on fighting. Not because of the quest, not because of the rewards, he is fighting Vergil with all his strength cause he feel the most alive right now, and he doesn't want this to end.
Alas, all things end. Vergil found an opportunity when Damien accidentally swung 'Rebellion' too far as he parried it away, making Damien lose his grip and sends 'Rebellion' flying into the air. Damien's eyes widened as Vergil runs the 'Yamato' through his (technically) brother's chest, causing Damien to cough out blood. Vergil twists his katana, making the wound worse, and pulls it out. Damien falls and hits the ground, the life of his eyes slowly fading away. Vergil looks at him before pushing his wet hair upwards and walks away. 'Rebellion' fell in front of him, stabbed to the ground as Vergil picks it up and dashes to stab 'Rebellion' into him, when suddenly...
Vergil picks up 'Rebellion' and dashes at me, wanting to end me when suddenly the world turns black and white and Vergil stops as if time has paused. I was confused before falling unconscious.

When I woke up, I blinked my eyes a few times before standing up and admiring the view.

Whilst admiring the view, I noticed that the system and Eve weren't responding. I got suspicious so I walked to find some civilization.
After about 30 minutes of wandering around, I saw a silhouette of a young blond girl with a white-haired man in front of a sword pedestal.
