NOLTON

I was ready to go out and have some fun tonight. So me and the guys decided to head out to this bar I like going to that helps break up the whole club scene.

I don't know about the club scene anymore. Maybe I'm getting to that age already and what not, I don't know. Either way, I like this type of a place and besides, even though people know me wherever I go, I like to wear just my dark jeans, and black t-shirt, feeling comfortable and relaxed.

After we arrive at the bar, I am greeted by the bouncer at the door right away and we do a bro hug, which continues as soon as I walk into the bar as people recognize me and my guys. That's right, respect.

We grab a spot in the corner at the back of the room where the pool tables are at and one of the waitresses who knows what we all like by heart, already begins walking over, swaying her hips from side to side and then handing us our drinks - It feels great to be me.

After we finish our third game of pool and second round of drinks, we decide to head out towards the front of the bar and notice some people are getting in line to sing Karaoke. Damn I love watching people do that.

Tonight it was really crowded but the guys and I got a really good seat near the bar to order another drink and once I ordered a drink, I heard the most beautiful voice in the world, start to sing.

The moment I turned to see who was singing, I was surprised. I couldn't help but be shocked at who the beautiful voice had belonged to. It was that girl who Brett hit the other night, damn, what was her name again?!?

Leona

The funny thing was that she was.singing the song 'My Give A Damn's Busted' and.wow, she really doesn't give a damn it sounds like. That is a perfect song for her.

I continued watching while taking a drink from my whiskey and lighting up a cigarette, ignoring others.

I'm not sure.what it is about her tonight but between her voice and the way she looks, fuck me, she is hot.

Soon the song was over and I had to shake my head to come back to the present as soon as I heard Brett snap his fingers in front of my face to get my attention.

"You alright, bro?" He asks.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I replied as I took one last drag from my cigarette before putting it out and drinking the last of my drink.

"You want to go and say 'hi' to her?" He teases.

"Shut up?" I scoff.

"Hey, I'm not the one who's drooling over her." He says before taking a quick shot.

"What the fuck ever. I could care less about that selfish bitch." I tell him.

"Oh really?!" He asks with a cocked eyebrow

"Yes." I replied while rolling my eyes.

"Okay. Okay." He nods his head a couple of times.

Next thing I noticed was her and some girl she was with walk towards the bar and ended up stopping a few feet from us at the end of the bar.

I didn't want her to see me. Didn't want there to be drama or any bullshit going on and she seems the type who would start a scene, so I left it alone.

While I began ordering another drink, I noticed she walked away while her friend stayed at the bar. Soon enough, both her and Brett seemed to be eyeing each other until he finally made the first move and walked over to her.

Surprisingly they both seemed to be hitting it off immediately as she started giggling and he too was smiling more than I have seen him ever smile in a long ass time. So I take it she isn't anything like her friend - she has a personality.

Eventually, I saw them both looking at me and him pointing at me while telling her something. What the hell is he telling her?!? Oh god, I hope he doesn't say or do something stupid and then involve me.

Moments later, he starts walking back towards me.

"Hey so, we're gonna go and grab something to eat from that shop down the street. Wanna come?" He asks me.

"Are you crazy? How do you think that's gonna go when her friend see's you and remembers you? Or see's me?" I asked him.

"Pff. Bro, seriously? Grow the hell up. Besides, don't be actin' like you don't want to come with us." He nudges me with his elbow.

"You are so immature." I shake my head.

"Whatever. Look, I am going to grab something to eat with Marlie. You can either come with us or not. It's up to you." He finishes telling me right before the girl, Marlie comes walking over.

"Hey!" She nods at me.

"I'm Marlie." She says as she holds out her hand.

"What's up? I'm Nolton." I replied as I shake her hand.

"So my girl is in the restroom but said she is down for grabbing a bite. Are you comin' too?" She asks.

"Sure." I shrugged then stood up off the bar stool and started walking outside to wait for Leona.

The moment she came walking out, I realized she was stumbling a little bit and talking out loud about how hungry she was.
I was wondering about how she was going to react after she saw me and if rather or not she'd remember me even though she was drunk.

The moment of truth came and when she saw me, she had no idea in who I was.

"Well who isss thisss guy?!" She asks Marlie.

"That's the guy who is driving us to grab a bite to eat. He's Brett's friend, Nolton." Her friend laughs and starts to tell Brett and I that Leona barely drinks.

She was real cute when she drank. She seemed to be real fun and funny too.

We got into the car and headed to the eating joint they had talked about and throughout the rest of the night, she was adorable and surprisingly 'fun' to be around. She surprised me, in a good way though.
