Hassan waited for the queen to visit him again but after four weeks, he was getting desperate. The last time she came, he told her to not show up again, and apparently, she decided to do just that.

Hassan never thought it was possible but he kind of missed her. Yes, he was still very angry but not enough to cover the love he felt for Rocky. Sitting in one corner of his cell, he buried his fingers in his messy hair and clenched his teeth. He wished she'd come back...

For four weeks, he hadn't seen a single human being, except for the silent guard who brought him food every now and then. He also couldn't believe that his mother was dead. She only ever wanted the best for him and he realized they didn't share the best feelings since Rocky came into the kingdom. Hassan wished he hadn't been so harsh with his mother, even going as far as kicking her out of the castle. That was also one of his many regrets.

He'd already lost all hope of ever seeing a friendly face again in his life when he heard distinctive footsteps coming from the end of the hallway. Definitely a woman. Hassan stood up from his crouched position. A few seconds later, the queen was in front of his cell, looking embarrassed.

Hassan clenched his fists. Rocky thought it was out of anger but little did she know that the man was simply trying to resist the urge to run to her.

"...I know you told me not to come back but I couldn't help it." She said, looking down.

Hassan took a deep breath and walked closer to the door. Her delicate hands were holding the bars of his prison. Hassan wanted to touch them but instead, he asked:

"How have you been?"

Rocky seemed surprised to hear that question. In fact, she didn't expect that the man still cared about her wellbeing. She looked into his eyes and saw he was still angry at her but it wasn't as obvious anymore. More than anything, Hassan simply looked tired.

"I have been well, I guess...At least I am not locked up in a dungeon."

"Yeah. What about the kingdom? I have no idea what's happening out there. Raja is treating the citizens right?"

"I don't know what's happening out there either. I never leave the palace and Raja doesn't tell me anything. I can guess that things are not going his way, though. He is always upset. Some guards and employees have been executed because they refused to serve him, so I think he's doing the same to everyone else."

Hassan clenched his fists again.

"He is going insane." He said.

"He is hurt." She added with sadness in her voice.

The man frowned.

"Hurt? I can't believe you feel pity for that boy. See what he's done to this place! But do you even care? He is your lover and this is not your kingdom. You probably won't bat an eyelid if he sets the whole country on fire!"
