I prepared myself for today, making sure I looked nice and presentable.
"Calm down (y/n), who am I kidding.... I can't calm down this is the chairman I'm meeting. I'm going to be famous....!"
You thought to yourself.
You headed over to the restaurant, you were greeted by Chairman Rose's assistant. A lady wearing tall high heels, and a stern look across her face.
"You made the Chairman wait for so long, did he not tell you he was in a hurry?"
The lady frowned.
"No, he just told me to come after I defeat the gym leader. Was there something I missed out on?"
You questioned.
The lady sighed.
"Just come inside, don't make the Chairman wait any longer than he needs to."
Oleana said.
What a jerk....
You walked inside, you saw Chairman Rose sitting alongside Sonia.
"Hey kid....! Over here!"
Sonia waved to you, she smiled.
You walked over towards Sonia and Chairman Rose.
"Chairman Rose, Sonia! It's good to see you two."
You smiled.
You all talked, you had dinner together while discussing a lot of stuff.
"Hey (y/n), you don't happen to know a boy with white curly hair do you?"
Chairman Rose asked.
You thought of only one person, that boy who was a jerk to you before. He was the only white haired boy you knew of.
"Pink jacket?"
You questioned.
Chairman Rose pointed his finger at you.
"Yes, Bede. Would you mind being friends with him? He could be a little lonely sometimes, and well I think he causes problems around other people his age so I thought I'd be natural for him to make some friends."
Chairman Rose pushed the fact a little.
You remembered how Bede was like, he was rude and a bit annoying.
"Sure."
You answered without thinking.
"I'm glad, then I—"
"Chairman Rose, we have to go soon."
Oleana impatiently said.
"Then, I'll be going. See you soon Ms. Sonia, and you too (y/n)."
Chairman Rose left with his assistant.
"See you!"
Both you and Sonia yelled out.
"So (y/n), how's your badge collecting coming along?"
Sonia asked.
"Great."
You nodded.
"Where's Hop? Isn't he always with you?"
Sonia asked.
"Probably earning his badge as of now, he's always been one step ahead of me. Though I managed to beat him to Nessa's."
You smiled confidently.
"Nothing like the male rival tasting defeat from their female rival. Ah, it feels good to be a girl boss for once. I tried to be the same as you when I was younger but Leon always seemed to be a step ahead of me wherever I had gone."
Sonia laughed a little.
"Well, I'll be on my way. It was nice seeing you again (y/n). And as for Hop, try not to let him get too ahead of his game."
Sonia waved as she left.
