You woke up, stretching your arms and feeling awfully tired. You had returned back to Circhester after your date and relaxed at the hotel you were staying in.
You checked your phone for anything, you saw a message from Hop.
Hop: "Decided to change my fashion up a little, what do you think??"
It showed a picture of Hop wearing different clothes than from his usual. He wore a flannel and a black shirt with black pants and white shoes.
You sent a thumbs up emoji, you smiled to see your adorable dorky boyfriend in that kind of outfit.
Hop: "Hey, come outside your hotel real quick."
You did as he asked, going outside only for you to be tackle hugged by Hop.
"Sorry, I missed you I just couldn't help it!"
Hop smiled brightly.
You hugged him back.
"Just the man I wanted to see."
You ruffled his hair a little.
"Hey (y/n), did you see Lee's latest battle??? It was cool, someone reached the end towards him but never managed to beat Lee...! Lee's just so cool."
Hop flailed around, fan boying over the champion who happened to be his older brother.
"I should watch it sometime soon."
You nodded.
"I wanna be as cool as Lee sometime soon."
Hop nodded.
"What are you talking about? You are as cool as him."
You smiled.
Hop's face flushed a little.
"Thanks, that makes me happy to hear from you."
Hop nodded.
"Hey (y/n), do you wanna continue our journey together? I may have defeated the Spikemuth gym leader but I decided I'd wait on you until you got your badge so that way we could fight the last gym leader together."
Hop asked.
"Of course I'd love to, let's get out of this snowy area."
You nodded.
You and Hop left Circhester at last, heading from route 09 all the way to Spikemuth. You both saw Marnie up ahead, she was quick to wave at you guys and seem so happy to see you.
"Hey (y/n)! Hey Hop! Are you two here to challenge the gym here??"
Marnie asked.
"Not me, just (y/n) here."
Hop gave you a little push .
"Oh, (y/n) come with me I know a secret way to get inside."
Marnie said, she grabbed your hand.
You waved goodbye to Hop and followed Marnie around, she lead you into a secret entrance of the gym.
"So, how's your relationship with Hop been??"
Marnie asked.
You smiled.
I didn't think Marnie would know, but she is a good friend of Hop and I so....
"Great, Hop and I seem so happy together."
You said.
"You both seem happier, who knew you'd both be great friends and then end up dating soon. You two are cute together."
Marnie nodded.
"Why, thank you Ms. Marnie."
You teased her a little.
"Hey (y/n), do you mind if I ask you for a battle? It's been long since I've tested my skills and I want to see if I've gotten strong enough."
Marnie asked.
"Of course Marnie."
You smiled and pulled out a pokeball.
She pulled hers out too, suddenly some fans of Team Yell came out of nowhere and began to cheer Marnie on while the two of you battled. In the end, you were victorious but Marnie seemed a lot stronger than before.
