|Part 8: Sometimes It's Hard to Understand You|

"Then I'll have...."
You waved your finger around as you ordered some food for yourself.

"You've always been someone who orders that kind of stuff, don't you?"
Hop teased.

"Yep."
You nodded.

Hop chuckled a little, he seemed to be a little cheery around you.

The two of you ate your stuff before going around to explore, it was until you lost Hop because for some reason he was kind of like his older brother Leon a little except instead of not knowing his way around things he just easily gets distracted with stuff and then walks off to another area until you can find him again.

"Not again...."
You sighed.

You walked around to look for Hop, he was always one step ahead of you or too quick to even be found. You walked some more until you felt your shoulder brush against someone familiar.

You recognized that white cloudy hair and that pink jacket already, it was none other that rude boy you've come across many times.

"Hey.... It's you...!"
You smiled a little, giving him a little warm welcoming side to you.

He turned around, facing you with a frown on his face.

"What do you want??"
He questioned.

"Nothing much, I just thought I'd say hi."
You nodded.

If I can assume, he must be Bede. Chairman Rose asked if I could become friends with him, although he really does not give any warm welcoming feelings towards anyone.

"Chairman Rose."
You blurted out.

Bede looked at you in surprise, he was shocked to hear the name "Rose" come out of your mouth.

".....What are you...."
Bede questioned.

"Chairman Rose said you were cool and how you would make a fine champion."
You could feel a false grin arise your face as you lied to him.

"He did.....?"
You saw a slight blush on Bede's face, you could admit it was cute seeing a soft side to Bede.

You nodded silently.

"Well of course, it's obvious that I BEDE, will become Champion and one day I will take over the duties of Chairman. I AM endorsed by the chairman after all, it's only natural he'd choose me."
Bede bragged, he did these weird hand movements as if he was some sort of powerful being.

You couldn't help but giggle a little.

"You're funny."
You placed your hand on your lips, covering yourself from laughing a little more.

You saw Bede's face turn a little pink.

"I-I uhm.... Thank you..."
Bede covered his face a little with his jacket, trying to hide his face from you seeing his embarrassed side of him.

Huh, I never realized it until now that Bede could be a little bit cute when he's vulnerable and not a jerk. He reminds me a little bit of a certain someone.

—Hop's pov—

I went souvenir shopping on my own, something caught my eye so I wanted to buy it for myself. But there was also this cute plushie of Pokémon (y/n) likes.

I thought in my head "I should buy this for her, she'd love it."  With a confident smirk on my face I did so.

I walked out of the store, I walked around looking for (y/n).
