Hello ! Welcome to my fanfic Ashes to Ashes. Not many Riven fanfics exist so I thought I write one and put my spin on the show. Not all themes will go along with the show but I'll try and keep as close as possible. Enjoy ! This will be from the live action.

Lydia Silvers approaches the school gates with heavy nerves and a rumbling stomach. "Yeah I should've ate before I left home." She mumbles before seeing a girl looking around obviously as nervous as she. Stopping by her the girl looks up at her while Lydia smiles. "Hello, is it your first year too ?" She questions while the girl furrows her brows before smiling. "How did you know ?" She questions while I look around seeing Sky before turning back to her. "I can see the nerves coming off of you in waves, I'm Lydia." I say sticking my hand out to shake while she grabs it nodding. "I'm Bloom." Taking my hand away I look around before spotting Stella and I sigh. "What ? What is it ?" Bloom asks looking in the general direction of where I was looking. "Stella, princess of Solaria, better known as queen fairy of the school." I reply while she looks back at me. "Is she mean ?" Bloom asks while I beckon her along while we walk past Stella taking photos with a group of girls. "She comes off as mean but she's nice, she dated sky for awhile but that was a disaster waiting to happen." I say while Bloom glances at me while we walk around the gravel walkway. Stopping Bloom and Sky make eye contact and I raise a brow. Sky glances away from her to look at me and smiles. "Hello Stranger, haven't seen you in months where have you been ?" Sky says giving me a hug while I smile at him. "Nothing much just kingdom hopping, being a princess has its up and downs, doing diplomatic work for the kingdom gave me a lot to do over the summer." I say while Blooms eyes widen. "Wait princess ?" She questions and I nod. "Yes, Princess Lydia of Orindoth, a small kingdom but it's beautiful." I say while I laugh a bit at Blooms face. "How big is the kingdom ?" Bloom asks completely enthralled by talking to someone of royalty. "It's the size of Texas, a bit bigger though." I reply while she nods before looking at me again. "You know where Texas is ?" Bloom asks and I nod. "Yes, I'm well knowledgeable in all the realms." I say before I hear another voice enter the chat. "Quit perving on the first years." The boy says and I look past Sky a bit to see a boy I've never met before. "I'm not, just catching up with Lydia and talking to her new friend here." Sky says and I wave slightly while he looks over at me then to Bloom. "Anyways, Bloom follow me because your escort has yet to show up, so I'll do the honors of taking you to meet the headmistress to get your timetable." I say grasping her hand waving bye to Sky before looking at the boy one last time and walking towards the school.

"Whose Lydia and whose the Redhead." Riven asks while Sky looks to him before watching his childhood friend and the other girl walk off. "Lydia is the princess of Orindoth, my childhood friend and the redhead is Bloom." Sky replies before they walk off towards the Specialist dorms. "Shes hot, well they're both hot but brunettes are more my speed." Riven says entering there shared dorm room. "Stay away from Lydia Riven, she isn't your type." He says while Riven lays on the bed lighting up a joint. "What do you mean ?" Riven asks inhaling the smoke before blowing it out. "She's too innocent for you." Sky says before taking the joint from Riven's hand putting it out. "Even better." Riven says while Sky rolls his eyes.

Lydia and Bloom enter their new home for the year breaking off to get settled in their rooms. Lydia begins to unpack before there is a knock on the open door. Turning she sees a girl holding a beautiful plant in her hands smiling shyly at her. "Hello, I'm Terra, earth fairy." She tells me and I smile setting down a few books and ushering her inside. "Carnations ? They're beautiful." I say looking at the array of the deep pink and light pink flowers. Handing them over, I take them with a big smile and set them on my desk by the open window and I look back to her. "Hello Terra, I'm Lydia, fire fairy." I say sticking my hand out. She shakes it and smiles softly at me. "I seen you arranging your beauties, if you ever want to add more and you run out of room mines open." I say while she nods. "You like plants ? Which I mean well uh." She trails off while I just shake my head smiling walking over showing her all of my plant books. "I have my own garden back home on Orindoth, my mum loves to garden too it's our little hobby." I tell her while Terra nods before telling me she needs to get back to her plants. Nodding I go back to arranging my room and getting my things put away. Seeing all the things I have left to do, I get fed up and snap my fingers and all the items get placed where I want them to go. Putting my hands on my hips I smile before turning seeing Bloom standing there gawking at me. "I learned that from my mum when I was fourteen." I say while Bloom walks in with a excited smile. "Will you teach me that ?" She asks and I nod while shrugging. "I don't see why not but do get ready, we have an opening party to get to." I say going behind my clothing privacy shade to change into a blue open back sundress with tan heels. Stepping out I take my hair out of it's pony tail and let it trail down my back. Putting on some mascara and blush I turn to see bloom reading a book about my kingdom. "I'll take you someday." I say and she looks up smiling at me. "Really ?" She asks and I nod standing up. "Are you wearing that to the party ?" I ask seeing her in sweats. "I uh no." Smiling at her, I turn to my closet handing her a red summer dress and she looks from the dress to me. "Oh I can't." She says and I shake my head. "Please I insist." I tell her smiling while she nods before leaving the room. (I know she wears something different but I wanted to change it up a bit)
