Lydia wakes with a start, shaking from her horrible dream. She was running from something, dark, grotesque a burned one but she hasn't had dreams about one since her grandmother was killed by one five years ago. Throwing the blanket off of her she slips on her shoes before walking to the door. Heading to the commons area; she let her hand fill with fire for a light source. Heading for the doors she walks outside walking to the garden. Taking shuddering breaths her eyes fill with tears. Letting the fire dwindle down, she's immersed in darkness again. Sinking down to the damp earth, I lay back looking up at the stars. Sitting there for what felt like hours but only thirty minutes, I hear a twig snap and I'm instantly sitting up, letting small flames dance across my fingertips. Standing up I back up seeing a figure walking towards me. Thinking it's a burned one I let the flames ignite into a fiery inferno. "Woah hey !" I hear a male speak and I let the flames die into a small flame. "Riven ?" I say before the flames extinguish all together. "Oh Im sorry, I thought, I." Letting my eyes tear up my hands fall by my sides. "Im sorry." I whisper while Riven quickly walks up to me. "Are you okay ? What happened ?" Riven rushes out and I'm looking anywhere but at him. "I had a bad dream, so I came outside and I thought, I thought you were a burned one." I say finally looking back at him. "Burned ones don't exist anymore, you're okay nothing that happens in your dreams can hurt you now." Riven says and I nod. "Okay." I whisper and Riven smiles at me. "Come with me." he says wrapping his arm around my shoulder leading me in a new direction. "Where are we going ?" I ask while he looks down at me while we walk back towards the school. "To my dorm, we have an extra bed and Sky is up anyways." Riven says and I nod. Taking me to the specialist dorms we walk in and Sky looks up from the book he was reading. "Lydia ?" He says before marking his book and shutting it. "What's the matter ?" He asks taking me away from Riven over to where his side of the dorm is. "The dreams they're happening again." I whisper while I sit down looking at the scars on my shoulder. Sky sees them as well and looks back up to me. "They can't get you here you're safe in the barrier." Sky says before Riven cuts in. "Burned ones are gone, I promise." He says and Sky and I look over to him. "Her grandmother was killed by a burned one five years ago protecting her from them." Sky says while Riven glances down at her scars before making eye contact with Lydia who quickly looks away. "You didn't tell me those details love." He says and Lydia blushes before looking back over to Sky. "They're back." Lydia says and Sky sighs. "Lydia." He starts but Lydia stands up in disbelief. "You don't believe me do you ?" Lydia says quietly. "I dreamed of them before I was attacked the first time and now I'm dreaming about them again, they're back." Lydia says walking to the door but Riven stops her. "Where are you going ?" He asks looking into her eyes with slight worry. "Back to my dorm." She says while Riven shakes his head no. "Just stay here tonight." He says while squeezing my wrist slightly. "I shouldn't what if a teacher walks in, I don't want to get you both in trouble." I say looking into his eyes. "Love,  I stay in trouble, it's fine I promise." He tells me and I smile kindly before covering my mouth from a yawn. Laying down on the bed Riven coughs and I look back over to him. "That's my bed." He says smirking and I go to get up quickly but he stops me. "It's fine I'll sleep on the other one." He says but I shake my head "It's your bed though." I say before looking over at Sky who looks like he wants to say something but doesn't laying down in his bed cutting off the side light. "No I insist." He says and I smile softly while nodding. "If you say so."  I say before the sleep takes over me quickly. Riven stands there like a creep watching her sleep but he can't seem to take his eyes off of her. "Riven if you stare any longer your eyes will dry out." Sky mumbles while Riven blinks before slipping off his shoes.  "Sorry." He says before Lydia begins to mumble in her sleep. Riven and Sky look over at her and they hold their breaths while she turns on her side. Her hands begin to sizzle, Sky smells it and get up rushing over to Lydia leaning down by her ear before running his fingers through her hair. "It's okay, it's just a dream, it's all just a dream." Sky whispers in her ear and Riven walks over next to Sky. Looking over to her hands, Sky sighs, seeing her hands back to normal. "When we were kids, she would have awful nightmares and I would always do this to help calm her down." Sky says smiling softly at her. "When my father died she did the same for me when I had nightmares." Sky says before standing up he walks away after kissing her hairline looking over to Riven who watches her still. "I stand by what I said, she's too innocent and caring for you, you'll just break her heart." Sky says before he looks away from her and over to him. "I don't care what you say Sky, I do what I want you should know that by now." Riven says while he lays down on the other bed. "Just know if you hurt her, not only will you have me to deal with, let's just hope she doesn't bbq your ass before I get my hands on you." Sky says while Riven rolls his eyes letting sleep take over.

Sitting up Lydia looks around seeing the two boys sleeping. Getting up her joints pop and she slips on her shoes before seeing the time. "Oh My I'm late for class." She says before walking to the door. "Leaving so soon love ?" Riven whispers. "Wow his morning voice sounds hot and he's shirtless." Lydia thinks to herself before she nods. "I'm five minutes late to class and you and Sky have training at 9 so you better get up soon, goodbye." While Riven smirks. "You're already late so just go back to bed." He says while Lydia shrugs. "Miss Dowling wouldn't like that I'm late." She says while Riven throws back his blanket and sits up. Bitting her lip she soon closes the door. Riven looks up when the door shuts walking up to her. "Come back to bed love." He whispers and my heart begins to race. "O..okay." I reply while I take off my shoes getting back into bed. Laying down I close my eyes falling back asleep. "Riven showers and gets ready for training, Sky gets in right after leaving Riven alone in the room with a sleeping Lydia. Walking over to her he gently wakes her up. Her eyes open revealing her emerald green eyes and she smiles up at him. He could get used to this. "It's time to get up." He says and she nods staring into his blue-green eyes softly. "Okay."  she whispers before getting up. Slipping her shoes back on she smiles at Riven before telling him bye. "Oh Lydia, if you have more bad dreams you can always come to me okay ?" Riven says causing Lydia to blush before nodding. "Bye Love." He says while Lydia smiles. "Bye Riven." She says while her heart begins to beat fast. She leaves quickly heading down the hall back to her dorm in the fairy wing. Entering the room the girls look up seeing her before they begin to bombard her with questions.

"Where have you been ?" Aisha questions and Lydia looks at her before answering.

"I had a bad dream so I went for a walk."

"For seven hours ?" Bloom questions next.

"Yeah, Um well Riven found me and he took me back to his dorm to see Sky. He and I grew up together, so he knows how to help me when I have nightmares." I reply and Bloom nods while she walks up to me giving me a hug. "Don't hesitate to come to me or any of the other girls when you have a nightmare okay." She says and I nod thinking back to what Riven said to me.

"Yeah of course."
