Did I just title the chapter from the reference of the hunger games for Katniss Everdeen ? Why yes, yes I did on with the chapter.

A chapter that doesn't hold much with the story line a filler chapter.

"You want to tell me what you were doing out past curfew young lady ?" I say seriously while Bloom looks at me wide eyed from where I light my hand on fire from the dark corner of her room. Aisha long since passed out, turns over in her sleep slightly and we both hold our breath, letting it out when she doesn't wake. Looking back to Bloom with a glare. She goes to explain before I crack a smile, letting my flame out until we're shrouded in darkness, the full moons light casting light shadows in the room. Bloom sighs sitting down on her bed. "I was practicing my magic, and I may have almost burnt the lecture hall down if it wasn't for you." Bloom says and I sit up straight with a confused face. "How so ?" I wonder while she smiles at me. "You told me my fire would try to control me but I'd have to tell it I'm in control and I controlled it." Bloom whispers smiling wider while I grin big. "See I knew you had it in you Bloom, now that that's been said and done, you rest okay, we have a big day tomorrow." I tell her slightly patting her shoulder before I head for my room. Laying in my bed my eyes grow heavy before I'm falling slowly, soundlessly asleep.

Waking with a start my alarm is blaring and I snooze the alarm, groaning before turning over on my side facing away from my door. I hear the girls getting up one by one to get ready for the day and I seem to not want to get up. A knock comes to my door lightly and I groan some more before fluttering my fingers, my door opens. "Hello Lydia I'm come bearing tiger lilies." Terra says and I nod before feeling my body growing hot. "I don't feel so well." I say to her while she hurriedly sets down the tiger lilies on my desk before coming to feel my forehead. "Ah Lydia you're burning up." Terra says before walking out the door. It's been a couple of days since Riven and I's date from the woods, after a swim in the cold freezing lake by me and the chattering of teeth using my abilities to warm me up on the way home it seems I've caught a cold. "You sure did take your time making and appearance Mother Nature." I grumble sarcastically before sneezing. "I'm gonna go down to the green house and fix you some tea to help bring down your fever, in the meantime rest, I'll inform the teachers you won't be in class for the next couple of days." Terra says and I nod before coughing. Closing my eyes I slip quickly back into sleep.

Waking a couple hours later I look to my nightstand to see a couple of handmade teabags with a note I pick up and read it quickly before smiling setting it back down on the table and sit up. "Ah everything hurts." I say before I smell something burnt looking at my bed I see where my body heat got so high it burnt my body shape into the mattress. "Greaaat, now I have to get a new bed." I say before I get up snapping my fingers and my bed is gone replaced by a new one. "A shower." I mumbles before grabbing my things heading down the hall. Setting the water to cold I get in steam rolling off of my body before I set the water to a lukewarm temperature and finish my shower before dressing in warm clothes.

Making me some tea, I let it sit before I comb through my wet hair. Towel drying it some more I let it air dry while I sip my tea. Sluggishly I head down to the canteen to grab some soup and see Riven sitting with Sky. I walk past them and I feel Riven and Sky looking at me before they are standing next to me in line. "What are you doing out of bed love ?" Riven asks feeling my forehead feeling my body is warmer than normal. "You have a fever you should be back in bed." Riven says before Sky turns me away from the food line. "You go sit we will get you some soup okay." Sky says while I nod heading to there table and slowly sitting down.

Sitting the warm soup down with a water and some crackers I slowly eat my food in silence. "How long have you been sick ?" Sky asks while I look up to him before shrugging. "Two days I think, being sick all sense of time goes out the window." I mumble before coughing into my sleeve. "You hardly ever get sick Lydia should we take you to the med bay ?" Sky wonders while I shake my head before standing up feeling nauseous. "I'm just gonna head on back to my room and sleep some more." I say before trailing off back to my room. Walking alongside me is Riven, grasping my hand softly in his he walks with me back to my room. "What happened to your bed ?" He asks helping me in while I look up to him. "My body heat burnt the mattress, so I had to get a new one." I reply before closing my eyes. Feeling Riven bend down he kisses my forehead before sitting a new bowl of soup down. "Eat when you feel like it love, I'm going to let you rest." He says before walking out slowly shutting the door behind him. My world grows quiet and I let my tired body succumb to the dark.
