Part 16 - Not as planned

I unsheathed my sword slamming it into the Nomu only for it to slide back slightly so I growled only to hear Dabi speak from behind me "not so strong now are you?" I grumbled only to feel the nomu grab me then squeeze my body making me scream out in pain, as Dabi's hands cackled as he walked towards me I felt something inside me snap and as my arms glowed white I ripped my way out of the Nomu's hand by breaking its finger and I ran forwards kicking Dabi all the way down to the end of the street. Before I turned to the Nomu and slammed it into the ground shaking the city slightly but as I fell to my knees I panted watching the white submerge back into my skin then I shakily got to my feet seeing Dabi running my way so I spoke "B...Bakugo," I then fell to the floor unconscious, as I slowly awoke I could see everyone staring my way as Dabi grabbed my chin "your awake Beautiful," I grumbled slightly as Shigaraki spoke "placing four fingers on the base of my wing before cackling "I'm going to break you," I looked to towards the others smiling only for me to see them all crying. 

So I spoke looking toward Shigaraki "do it then," he grumbled taking his hand away then he spoke coming round to face me with a smirk "I see you're already broken," I smiled brightly then spoke smirking as I headbutted him "FUCK YOU!" he grumbled stumbling backwards, only for Dabi to grab my chin harshly "now, now baby," I growled yanking my face out of his grip so I clicked my fingers sending a wave of feather knocking Kurogiri and Dabi backwards and so I leapt off the roof of the building whistling seeing my feathers trying to reach me only for me hear Bakugo yelling. As Bakugo launched towards me "TENSHI!" I smirked his way grabbing him and as I flapped my wings I spoke placing him on the floor "god fucking damn it," Bakugo made me look his way before growling at the burns on my face so I smiled walking ahead only to see Shigaraki violently scratching his neck, so I yelled up to them "DID I PISS YOU OFF!" he growled only for me to see Dabi smirking my way so I slowly walked towards them only for Dabi to make me freeze "Happy birthday Tennie-Chan," I stumbled backwards slightly seeing Toga stood licking a bloody knife so I grabbed at my neck as the muffled yells of Bakugo and Shota surrounded me but I saw the league escaping through Kurogiri. 

I smiled slightly only to see Paramedic's surrounding me and place pressure on my neck then I was placed into the back of an ambulance but as I looked to my side I could see Shota hold my hand tightly so I spoke or rather gurgled "it's okay?" he nodded my way so I spoke again "go home," I slowly felt my conscious slip, however, then I felt like I was floating as light zipped past me but as I saw Shota walking beside the hospital bed until he was confronted by a nurse so I smiled his way letting go of his hands as a doctor spoke "Fallen Angel, you being rushed into surgery," I hummed slightly and so the doctor nodded his head and soon I passed out. As I slowly opened my eyes I winced only to see Shota sleeping in the chair next to my bed so I slowly looked towards the window seeing the city was calm as the sun rose over the top of the building but as I went to speak it only created a whistle, so I grabbed the side of the bed making myself sit up before painfully turning to press the call button only for me to see the doctor to rush into the room waking Shota then he spoke "Tenshi," I smiled then signed with my hands that I couldn't speak making the doctor sigh as he spoke "we had to reconstruct your vocal cords so your not going to be able to speak for a while," I nodded slowly seeing Shota smiling my way. 

Soon I wrote a note to Shota *go home you look tired* he sighed placing a hand on my head then he spoke, "I'll be back later okay?" I smiled nodding my head slightly and so the doctor came round doing all of his checks before speaking "you seem to be recovering well, it's part of your quirk I'm guessing," I smiled making him chuckle, then he spoke "feel free to walk around if you need to stretch your wings," I bowed slightly then he left the room so I let my face rest in an emotionless state as I turned on the TV seeing the moments my throat was slit open was being blasted across the whole of Musutafu. 

Then I read the banner *Ark angel has fallen* I quickly turned off the TV then I slowly got to my feet seeing my left wing was bandaged and my face was also bandaged along with my neck so I slowly made my way to the bathroom where I finished my business, but as I was coming out I could see Hawks sat staring into space so I tapped his shoulder making him jump so I signed with my hand that I couldn't speak which made him sigh so I just smiled getting back into the bed and grabbed the notepad and wrote *how is everyone at UA?* I showed him the pad, and so he smiled then spoke, "they are okay?" I furrowed my eyebrows then he spoke sighing as he rubbed the back of his neck "shit I can't lie to you Kid, they're devastated," I frowned then started to write again only for Hawks to speak "we were taught sign language right?" I nodded slightly as to not reopen the wound and so we sat having a conversation using sign language which made me disheartened.
