Part 20 - Bakugo's birthday surprise

I smiled brightly with the small speech in front of me as the nurse spoke "calmly and slowly," I nodded my head speaking shakily about Bakugo and what a rollercoaster we have been through since I started at UA but as I finished I looked to the nurse who was beaming as she took both of my hands "that was amazing!" I smiled, as she led me through the hospital then she spoke placing a hand on my shoulder "I hope to see you back in action soon," I smiled brightly bowing her way "thank you," she bowed and so I ran slightly into town making my way towards a supermarket and Manga store where I brought Bakugo's birthday presents. 

I flew as fast as I could back to the dorms and placed up Bakugo's presents before running upstairs to change even locking my door so Bakugo couldn't get inside and so I changed into my dress which was inspired by his hero costume before doing my make-up as I heard Bakugo speak while he knocked on my door "Tenshi?" I slid a note, under the door *I'll meet you in the gym, I have a surprise* I heard him chuckled before he spoke "alright babe," I chuckled finishing up my make-up seeing Bakugo walking with everyone towards the gym so I grabbed my speech and took a deep breath opening my door. 

Only to see Shota smiling "he's angry you know," so I smirked speaking "he'll forgive me," I saw Shota's eyes widen so I spoke "I've been doing speech therapy because I wrote a speech," I felt Shota take my hand as we walked together downstairs and to the gym so I spoke shaking my hands "okay it's now or never," I saw Shota nod as we entered the gym, I smiled seeing Bakugo's eyes widen so I chuckled making my way over to him before signing *you like it?* he smirked placing a hand on my cheek "you look beautiful," I smiled leaning into his touch. Only for Shota's voice to come through a microphone "Happy birthday Bakugo, you have been a tough student to control over the past three years but I know you'll be a great hero with our Tenshi by your side," I smiled seeing Bakugo looking down at me so I let go of his hand as Shota spoke "Tenshi has written something for you," I smiled flying up to the stage bowing to Shota, so I took a deep breath then spoke looking towards Bakugo "I'm sorry about this last week, I've been taking speech therapy lessons so I could tell you how much you have helped me," I paused smiling his way "when we first met you called me angel face after I insulted you but after our first fight something in me changed, in the way that I wanted to be more than just a hero," I paused. 

As I felt my eyes starting to well up "Katsuki Bakugo you have done more for me than you think and helped me through one of the toughest experiences so I can say with my whole heart that I love you," I wiped my eyes as I saw him running up the stage bringing me into a hug, which made everyone cheer so I spoke shakily "I'm sorry," he shook his head then spoke smirking "Dumbass!" I chuckled as he kissed my lips and soon the party got into way only for me to flinch as Bakugo was hit over the head by an older woman "YAH KATSUKI!" I bowed her way slightly as the pair yelled back and forth. Only for a man to shake my hand as he spoke "sorry I'm Katsuki's father," I smiled brightly bowing towards him as Bakugo pulled me back "Yah you old hag not in front of Tenshi!" I chuckled slightly as his mother pulled me into a hug "you mean my daughter in law!" I chuckled, as she looked down at me cupping my cheeks "so beautiful couldn't you do better," I chuckled slightly hugging Bakugo before kissing his cheek "he perfect to me, you raised him well," she smiled brightly poking my nose "I like this one," I chuckled seeing Bakugo smiling my way as me and his mother were chatting. 

After a little while I was pulled away by Bakugo as he spoke "leave her alone," I chuckled waving her way then I spoke "she gave me her number," Bakugo scoffed then spoke bringing me outside of the gym so we could have a moment to ourselves, so I spoke placing my head on his shoulder "did you like your surprise?" he chuckled then spoke placing a hand on my thigh "I like the dress," I chuckled then spoke "got it specially made," he smiled kissing my lips and so I spoke "I got your present back in the dorms when you want it," he sighed. So I smiled looking up at him then he kissed my lips so I smiled pulling away as he spoke "love you too Dumbass," I chuckled shaking my head then I spoke blushing "you want to go back?" he smirked offering me a hand so I took it and we went back inside where we danced and drank throughout the night, soon though people started going home so I hugged Bakugo parents before they left only for Bakugo's mother to speak "take care of him for me," I smiled brightly "of course," she hugged me once more before the pair left only for me to turn and see the group all smirking my way.
