Part 28 - Sadness and anger

I fell slightly as the air was sucked out of my lungs and as I looked at my hands my vision blurred as I nodded my head mumbling "Pathetic," I felt someone cup my face so I looked their way to see an angry Bakugo "huh?" I spoke stuttering "He called me p...pathetic," I shook my head slightly, but as I saw Bakugo getting to his feet I spoke stumbling to my feet "it's not worth it," I sighed smiling weakly to everyone "I'm sorry if I've let you down," I then turned making my way upstairs and as I got back into my room I locked my door and sat on my balcony smoking until the sun had fully set. I shakily plopped onto my bed before curling up into a ball and placing my earphones in then playing my music at full volume before eventually passing out from exhaustion but as I woke up early the next morning I sighed deeply changing into my UA uniform, before sitting on the railing of my balcony having a cigarette soon however I grabbed my bag placing it over my shoulder and I made my way downstairs while I placed my hair up but as I placed my shoes on I heard Shota speak "Tenshi?" I shook my head and made my way out of the dorms. 

As I sat listening to music in the back of the classroom I sighed sketching slightly only for me to see everyone coming into the room so I placed my head onto the table and took out my earphones only did I raise my head when Shota spoke about today's training "we're in the gym with class 3-B today for one on one fights, then in the afternoon we have patrol around the downtown area of Musutafu," I saw everyone get to their feet, so I waited a couple of seconds then spoke as the room was empty "guess I'm staying here?" Shota shook his head "you're on Bakugo's patrol team, I trust him to keep an eye on you," I nodded my head then I flew up to grab my hero suit before making my way to the changing rooms. 

As I got inside and changed Mina spoke placing a hand on my shoulder "Tenshi," I looked her way then spoke "sorry Mina but I'm not up for it today," she nodded so I closed my locker before placing my hair up and I walked down to gym gamma, as I walked into the gym that boy spoke "Looky here we have a fallen angel," I just stared his way as he continued to speak about how useless and villain like I was so I spoke emotionless "are you finished?" I could see he was slightly taken aback by my reaction so I nodded my head then walked further into the gym. As the pairs were read out Shota spoke with a sigh "as we have two extra students in class 3-A Bakugo and Tenshi will be fighting lastly," I nodded my head then crossed my arms watching each match closely only for me to hear one of the girls from 3-B speak "I thought Tenshi was bubbly?" I clicked my tongue then bit the inside of my cheek out of annoyance, only for it to be mine and Bakugo's turn to fight so I slowly walked my way up to the circle making sure to flap my wings but as I stood inside of the circle I saw Bakugo staring my way trying to determine any emotion. 

So I took my stance and Shota spoke soon after "Begin!" I rushed forward sliding between Bakugo legs as he punched forward and as I flipped back to my feet I scowled kicking his back which made him stumble forward and as he caught his footing I saw him glaring my way so I smirked studying him closely as he ran forwards, only for me to be behind him in a split second kicking him in the back again enough to push him to the edge of the circle I could see anger radiating off of him as he turned once again lining up an attack using his grenades so I crouch narrowing my eyes before he propelled himself forward with an explosion. 

So I staggered backwards grabbing his arm as he cut my cheek before I slammed his back into the circle over my shoulder and as I jump backwards I could see him staggering to his feet so I spoke crouching again loud enough for him to hear me "hate me yet?" he growled making me smirk so we ran forward at the same time, but as he grabbed my arm making me stop he spoke "making me hate you, won't make you happy," I growled stomping on his foot before kicking his side making him skid backwards only for me to run forward as he fell backwards with a haze in his eyes I ran catching him before he fell to the floor. 

I spoke panicked "a...ah," he chuckled "Dumbass," I grunted lumping him over my shoulder before flying as quickly as I could out of the gym and as I was flying through the halls I heard Mic yell "TENSHI!" I ignored him and groaned loudly placing Bakugo onto a bed before panicking to Recovery girl, which in turn earnt me a smack on the cheek "calm down!" I nodded slowly taking a seat as she healed Bakugo before healing my cheek and I was sat there holding Bakugo's hand throughout lunch and the rest of the day only for me to hear Mina speak "Ten?" I shook my head "I did this because I was upset, I am pathetic, I can't even protect the people I love," I saw them all shaking their heads, so I kept my hand tightly in Bakugo's as Recovery girl did her checks so I spoke tearing up "is he okay?" I saw Recovery girl nod "it looks like he didn't sleep well last night, he just needs rest," I nodded bowing her way then I shakily kissed Bakugo's forehead "I'm so sorry," I slowly sat back down, seeing Recovery girl smiling my way before leaving the room with the group.
