Part 18 - Sign language

As we managed to get back to the dorms I smiled looking towards everyone as Shinsou pulled me into a hug "you fucking idiot," I smiled hugging him back only for him to pull away as Shota spoke "Tenshi can't speak for the moment," I smiled looking to everyone, then signed *I'm sorry for making you all worry* I heard Bakugo scoff then I heard Todoroki speak "why are you sorry?" I frowned slightly trying to think of the words only for shinsou to speak "are you okay though?" I went to sign. Only for me to fall into a trance "how do you really feel?" my voice came out crackly and shaky "s...sa...d a...and," he released his quirk making me wheeze as I shakily fell to my knees gripping my throat so I slowly got to my feet before speaking "dis...ap...point...ed in my...self," I saw everyone staring my way so I slowly made my way into the elevator before going upstairs, and as I got into my room I lumped on the bed seeing the birthday cards and gifts just sitting on my desk collecting dust but as I stared at them I just teared up thinking back to how perfect the night was only for it all to end in a pile of shit. 

As I saw my door open I could see Bakugo coming into the room so I signed his way *shouldn't I be dead?* he growled then cupped my cheek sitting next to me "don't say that and don't be disappointed in yourself for surviving, you did your best fighting that night even though you were still recovering from fight three of us," I nodded slowly letting my tears fall, then he kissed my lips and placed his forehead on mine speaking again "I won't have my girlfriend saying shit like that," I smiled slightly hugging him after a couple of minutes I pulled and signed *did anyone else get hurt?* he shook head then spoke "ironic," I chuckled slightly making Bakugo smirk. We lied together in silence as I signed and he replied to my questions only for Shota to open the door speaking "Tenshi, Hawks wants to see you," I nodded getting to my feet slowly as I grabbed Bakugo pulling him out of the bed as well, and so he walked into the common room with me only for Hawks to grab me flying into the air slightly as he cradled me like a baby "Baby bird," I smiled looking up at him and he sighed tightening his grip "you've lost weight again," I slapped his face gently making him chuckle as he placed me back onto the floor while hugging my shoulders. 

So I signed his way *don't you have patrol?* he clicked his tongue then spoke "come on Kid your more important," I turned glaring his way as I started to sign my normal rant even adding in swear words only for Hawks to grab my hands "okay, okay I get it," I could hear everyone chuckling slightly, so I pushed him out the door speak "G...Go," he looked my way amazed before I slammed the door coughing then I smiled sitting on the couch *so who understands sign language* I saw mostly everyone nod my way except Shota so I looked his way writing on my wrist "I'll write you notes then Shota," he grumbled nodding. Soon I was sat listening to everyone's conversations with a smile only for Kaminari to poke my cheek "you good?" I nodded my head then signed his way *you seem very happy?* he smirked then spoke near my ear "that's because I'm seeing someone," I felt my eyes widen, as I slapped his arm lightly then I spoke out of excitement "w...who?" he chuckled whispering it into my ear but as he told me I gasped loudly before bringing him to a hug which made everyone stare our way so I heard Kaminari speak "don't worry she's okay," I chuckled slightly hearing everyone going back to their conversation. So I smiled brightly placing my hands on his shoulders "I k...new it," he chuckled only for me to heard Shinsou speak. 

As Shinsou flicked my forehead he spoke "stop speaking," so I pouted flopping backwards into his shoulder before smirking his way which made him blush *knew you liked* he grabbed my hands, then sighed "shut it, Kitten," but I tensed slightly as the news flashed onto TV "today the hero Fallen angel was discharged from hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries, it seems that the hero is unable to speak as of yet but she had a few words for the public and her attackers," I frowned. As the co-anchor spoke showing me signing in front of the hospital "I may not be able to speak but I will recover soon and become stronger," I saw the women smile "such powerful words from such an admirable young lady," they both nodded making me grumble, as I crossed my arms then spoke "W...wha...t a l...load of s...shit," I saw everyone look my way so I just got to my feet slowly and made my way into the kitchen and as I was getting myself some water I heard Bakugo speak "why so angry huh?" I looked his way, then signed *admirable, I nearly fucking died?* he scoffed then spoke "you almost died trying to save the city and us," I nodded slowly as he kissed my forehead and so I got my drink before kissing Bakugo's lips and so we walked together back into the Living room where he spoke making me sit down "now stop being so fucking stroppy!" I chuckled lightly making him smirk.
