Part 74 - Work

Soon we were all sat eating until Bakugo's father spoke "so Tenshi I heard from Bakugo that you thinking of going to work for the hero commission again?" I hummed then spoke "they pay well but I don't really want to be in and out of Japan," he nodded quickly, so I chuckled "I've got to keep my eye on this one and my friends," I heard his parents chuckle slightly so I looked to see Bakugo smirking my way slightly so I smiled before placing some rice into my mouth only for Mitsuki to speak putting some more food into my bowl "you need to eat more, you're getting too skinny," I chuckled slightly rubbing the back of my head. 

Soon enough however we were making our way home so I hummed happily lighting up a cigarette as me and Bakugo sat in a nearby park "I always love seeing your parents," he scoffed then spoke, "I know," I chuckled looking up at the sky before smiling brightly "so peaceful," I heard Bakugo hum, so I spoke looking his way "thank you," he smiled kissing my lips "no thank you for making me a better person," I scoffed shaking my head then I spoke interlocking my fingers "I'd still be a bitch if I hadn't met you," he chuckled bringing me into a side hug. As we made our way back to the dorms hand in hand I spoke looking his way "I think an apartment would be fun," he scoffed shaking his head "I'll be cleaning all the time because your messy," I chuckled nodding my head then I spoke "and I'll be dealing with your Manga collection," he blushed slightly, so I chuckled placing my hand over my mouth as he jumped on my back making me squeal only for me to be knocked over as a gravelly voice spoke "get a room," I looked up slightly seeing Bakugo was annoyed so I spoke "stay here," he hummed so I flew after the person and so I landed in front of them. 

I spoke "haven't seen you in a while," he scoffed then spoke "yeah well I'm trying to stall Shigaraki for you Tenshi, so stop going out a night alone," I looked his way slightly concerned then I spoke "did he touch your face," he winced then walked past me "just stop it alright," I hummed watching him as he walked away with his hands in his pockets, so I sighed flying back to Bakugo before he spoke "did you know them," I hummed then spoke "let's just go okay?" he nodded and so we made our way UA quickly but as I got into the dorms I spoke taking my shoes off "I'm going to change," I saw Bakugo nod and so I ran upstairs slightly. But as I got to my room I growled slightly taking off my dress before changing into a cropped top and jogging bottoms before I sighed deeply running my hands through my hair "fuck sake," I sighed again grabbing my phone and texting Hawks about Dabi, only for me to see he was calling me seconds after I sent the text so I spoke, "did he really mess up his face?" I heard Hawks sigh then he spoke "yeah because he suggested we plan the attack for a long time after you leave UA," I hummed then spoke "is he okay?" he sighed again making me nervous. 

Then he spoke "look I'll give Dabi your number, but I think he's just pissed about something else," I hummed again then I spoke "look just give him my number, um I might go down to the commission tomorrow to talk to the president," he hummed so I sighed running my fingers through my hair "just make sure he's safe okay?" I heard Hawks sighed, so I spoke "please Kei," he hummed then spoke "anything for you Kid," I smiled then spoke "good luck with night patrol," he hummed before hanging up the phone so I grumbled throwing my phone onto my bed before I grabbed a couple of things out of my desk and placed my glasses on "right," I stretched my arms before getting to work. 

As I sat looking through all of my paperwork from the commission I started to highlight and write some notes only for me to jump as I heard Mina speak "are you okay Tenshi?" I hummed then spoke "just going through my old contact," she hummed coming into my room and sitting on my bed, so I spoke turning her way "why is everyone acting weird?" she spoke looking my way confused "I don't remember anyone being weird," I hummed turning around again "must be my imagination then," she sighed so I grumbled getting to my feet and walking out of my room and as I got downstairs I went straight into the kitchen grabbing myself a cup of coffee. But as I went back into the common room I heard Shota speak "what's with the glasses?" I hummed then spoke "sorry I'm going through my old contract with the commission," I saw him go to speak again but I was already halfway up the stairs, and as I got into my room Mina was gone so I sighed closing my door and locking it before I got back to work trying to figure out how I could change the contract to suit a life-based in Musutafu but I grumbled however as someone knocked on my door an hour later so I rolled my chair to unlock the door. 

Only for Kaminari and Kirishima to come into my room and sit on the bed so I spoke not looking their way "how can I help you?" I heard Kirishima speak "so your thinking of going back?" I nodded then spoke "yeah but I can't exactly leave Musutafu with the league wanting my head on a spike, so I'm looking for a way to change the contract so I stay based in the city," I heard them both hum, so I chuckled turning their way "plus I can't leave all of you," I heard Kaminari chuckle so I turned again before speaking "mandatory of 60 hours in a week," I hummed then sighed "I did more than that," I stopped however as Bakugo spoke from my doorway "so you're going to the commission tomorrow," I looked his way confused, only for me to see Hawks had texted him so I sighed "yeah but if they aren't going to have me based in the city they can fuck off," I heard Bakugo hum so I spoke looking his way "I'd rather not travel, I'm sure it will get on your nerves," he hummed again coming into my room and sitting down.
