Part 36 - Fear

I grumbled moving my wings out from behind my back only for Shota to come into the room alone "I sent everyone home," I smiled nodding my head then he spoke taking my hand "let it out," I bit my lip slightly then spoke "I'm okay," he shook his head, only for me to tear up and break down but as I sat sobbing into my knees I heard Shota speak as he rubbed my back "it's okay," I was sat there shaking and crying for a good hour until I heard a knock on the door so I took a deep breath seeing Shota going to the door. Only for him to let Bakugo into the room so I looked down feeling slightly ashamed only for him to speak jumping into the bed and place me in his lap "cry," I chuckled slightly leaning into his chest as my tears fell so I let out a shaky breath before placing my hand on Bakugo's chest "I love you," he chuckled, placing his head on my shoulder "and you are beautiful, strong and a fucking badass," I chuckled slightly seeing Shota smiling our way so I smiled sinking into Bakugo's lap as he cocooned me slightly so I slowly closed my eyes only to hear Bakugo whispering sweet things into my ear as he rocked me slightly until I eventually fell asleep. 

As I slowly blinked awake I blushed deeply feeling Bakugo's breath on my neck so I quietly chuckled only for the door to open quietly showing Kirishima so I signed his way *take a photo* he nodded quickly so I smiled brightly only for the flash to wake Bakugo up, so I grumbled slightly then spoke "ah sorry," he hummed nuzzling back into my neck "baby," I heard Kaminari snort only for Bakugo to growl looking up "what was that dunce face," I saw Kaminari tense making me chuckle until I started to cough making my hands shake so Bakugo spoke cupping my hands "shh calm down," I nodded calming down my breathing. Before relaxing back into his arms only for Bakugo to speak "Tenshi," I hummed only to see blood on my hands so I spoke "shit," I saw Kirishima go out of the room to get a nurse so I spoke half-lidded "I'm okay," Bakugo hummed slowly settling me back onto the bed alone before the doctor told them to leave, as the doctor spoke I felt my breathing stagger "we'll need to send some tests away, there is the possibility of cancer or it could be a bleed in the lungs," I nodded slowly as he smiled slightly before powerwalking out of the room. 

I sat there staring at my hands before angrily digging my nails into the palms of my hands then I spoke almost breathless "I was happy, everything was going well," I slowly opened my hands to see my palms were now bleeding but as I teared up I heard Mina speak "Tenshi?" I shook my head before bringing my knees to my chest, she spoke sitting on the other end of the bed "Tenshi?" I looked her way slightly to see she was smiling "it doesn't matter," I nodded slowly holding my hands out to her which in turn made her grab a tissue wiping the blood away "you've always got us remember?" I nodded my head slowly. Only for me to see Bakugo's eyes were red as he came into the room again so I looked away slightly only for Mina to speak happily "no point worrying about what's to come," I nodded smiling slightly only for Bakugo to pick me up again and place me in his lap as he hugged my waist tightly before burying his head into my neck making me tear up, so I placed my hand on his head as I placed a hand on my mouth shaking slightly as I began to cry only for the group to soon all gather on the bed as well only for a nurse to speak "ah Tenshi you need to be taken to your scan," I nodded my head with a smile. 

I lifted Bakugo's head and kissing his lips "I'll be back," he nodded and so I placed my hand on Kirishima's head before leaving the room with the nurse but as I was put on the MRI I took a deep breath trying to think of Bakugo and as his smile came into my mind so I smiled brightly getting through the next couple of minutes, only for the nurse to speak "thank you Tenshi," I bowed her way as she placed a hand on my shoulder "Dr Ito will be there shortly," I nodded making my way back to my room only to see it I was empty so I sighed sitting on my bed picking at the wounds on my legs.
