The girls got home and hurried into Murray's room.
"Daddy! We're here" said Ariel.
"Ariel... you can speak again. I knew you would" Murray whispered weakly.
"Daddy... We're gonna save you. We will. We'll never leave you again" Ariel cried.
"I'm afraid it's my turn to leave. My girls... I love you" said Murray.
He flopped back and shut his eyes.
"Daddy! No! He can't be dead! Is he?" Ariel sobbed.
"It's hard to say" said Belle.
She felt Murray's heart and there was no pulse.
"I... I can't make out a heartbeat" said Belle.
"And look! It's night!" said Livvy.
Vanessa burst into the room.
"Of course it's night. And on the third day too. Time's up! You lose!" she said.
Then she turned into Ursula.
"Ursula! What did you do?!" said Livvy.
"Your father has been done for since you got your legs back" said Ursula.
"But why?" said Belle.
"Because I tricked him. Told him he could save you if he surrendered to me. And he did, but he never did save you or himself." said Ursula.
"No!" said Ariel.
"Yes! Ha! The Wiggles are such gullible people aren't they?" said Ursula.
Then she reprised her song.
