The girls swam to the surface to get a glimpse at their old home.
The sea king and I followed.
"She really does love it with them. Doesn't she, Sebastian?" said his majesty.
"Well. It's like I always say, Your Majesty. Children got to be free to lead their own life" I said.
"You always say that?" said the sea king.
I just nodded.
"Then I guess there's just one problem left" said King Triton.
"And what's that, Your Majesty?" I said.
"How much I'm going to miss the three of them" said King Triton.
He pointed his trident at the three girls and they each got their legs back.
They jumped out of the sea just as the Wiggles arrived in their... what was it again? The Big Red Car.
"Girls! You're okay!" said Greg.
"Yes we are" said Belle.
"And we're glad. Because... we have a surprise for you" said Jeff.
The Wiggles stepped aside and Murray jumped from his seat in the Big Red Car.
"Daddy?" said Ariel.
"My girls" said Murray opening his arms.
All three girls jumped into their father's arms and he squeezed them gently.
"You're alive!" said Belle.
"We missed you so much" said Livvy.
"I missed you too. I'm SO sorry I didn't believe you about any of this. I should have known when I sold my own soul to the sea witch" said Murray.
"And we should have known she did that to you when you collapsed in the studio" said Belle.
"Oh, I felt so bad then. I thought I was dead" said Murray.
"You were. Until we got our legs back again" said Belle.
"And now... you're... with us" said Livvy growing sad at the last part.
"Yeah... are we asleep? Are we dreaming?" aid Ariel.
"No. You're not sleeping. And it's important you know that. I could never EVER leave my little girls. I was alive before you got back" said Murray.
"But... how?" said Ariel.
"I made a little adjustment as I gave you three your legs back" said the sea king.
"Thank you, Your Majesty!" said Livvy.
"It was my pleasure. Now you're human again. And you have your father. Now all you need to do is live your lives. All of you" said the sea king.
And that is exactly what the girls did.
They lived their lives in perfect harmony.
They never forgot this adventure and understandably so.
But they still know that where they ended up was always where they were meant to be.
