Chapter 2

Scorpius
"I'll be back in a minute." Rose says as she heads out of the dorm and out to the nearest girls bathroom.

Seconds later Albus and Dominique are on either side of me grinning like mad men

"What?" I ask blushing and continuing to write.

"Dude," Dominique takes my quill. "Stop writing."

I look up at Albus and he smirks.

"What?" I ask, slightly scared for my life.

"She likes you back." Albus says simply and my heart leaps into my chest. I never thought I'd hear those words.

"What?" I repeat, trying to keep my cool but I can feel my face reddening by the second.

"Rose Weasley." Dominique says slowly. "Likes" she exaggerates every syllable. "You."

Albus raise his eyebrows as I fall back onto my bed, overcome. My mind races and I'm lost within seconds. She's always been perfect to me and I've always wanted her to feel like I do, it feels insane to have it actually happen.

I finally manage to open my mouth to speak. "How long?" I ask sitting up and looking to Dominique

"About four years I think." She smiles and sits back on Albus' bed.

I take a deep breath and grin like a mad man. The girl I've liked for 5 years of my life, likes me back. The prettiest most intelligent girl in the whole school. This is insane.

Rose Weasley.

I stand up and jump up and down like an excited five year old. "You better not be lying to me Dom or I swear."

"I know! I know!" She grins. "you'll rip out my guts or whatever, I'm not lying!"

"Okay." I say starting to pace back and forth. "What do I do?" I murmur, "what do I say?"

"Just say what you've always wanted her to know." Albus claps me on the back and settles on his bed next to his cousin.

"Okay, okay." I stand nervously wringing my hands with my heart still jumping and pounding in my chest.

"I'm back!" She walks back into the room. My heart melts as I see her flaming red hair flying over her shoulders and her beautiful bright blue eyes. I've always wanted this but now that it's come to it I don't know what to do. I look to Albus and he nods, I step towards her slowly and take a deep breath.

"Scorp what's going on?" She asks me looking up at me and I melt under her gaze.

I step even closer to her and intertwine her fingers in mine. She looks down out our hands and then back up at me. This feels so right it's unbelievable it's like my hands were made to hold hers. Our eyes connect and I loose myself in the depths of the sea that lies behind her eyes. I lean down so our faces are inches from each other's. I feel her breath on my face now and smell the ginger and vanilla smell of her. I lean down and our lips connect. My heart explodes as eye feel her lips against mine. Nothing has ever felt so right than kissing her.
