Hi everyone who's reading this right now. I decided to make a Hunger Games fan fiction about one of my favorite characters. Annie Cresta! Also I'm including what happens in her Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, all in her perspective. So please vote, comment, and enjoy.!

My name's Annie Cresta,

I'm Sixteen years old,

I live in District 4,

And I've been reaped to fight to the death in an arena filled with muttations of some sort, unpredictable occurrences, where death lies waiting to take it's next victim, while being stranded along side with twenty-three other tributes, wanting the same thing I want. To survive.

To win means to outlast the others, to outsmart the others, and to kill the others . . .

Winning means twenty-three must die . . .

But winning has dire consequences . . .

The seventieth Annual Hunger Games have begun.

I wake  up hastily because of a bad dream. Water has always been my greatest fear. Ironic isn't it, being from District 4 and what not, they think you can swim . . . or at least float. But I wouldn't dare touch the sea. But the only type of water that I can be near to is drinking water, bath water or sweat.

It started ever since I was five . . . I was so excited to attend my first lesson in class, which was swimming. Pretty basic, I was in a boat with three other five-year-olds. Suddenly, the waves got pretty big an flipped the boat over, the teacher an the others swam away, while I got tangle in a fishing net. For sure, I knew I was a goner, then I fell into unconsciousness soon after. Someone untangled the net and brought me to the surface. I still have blurry thoughts of the person who saved me, but I recognize his or her hair, dark brown.

I slowly roll myself off the bed and fall face-first on the floor. What day is it today? I think, Probably Tuesday . . . Again I roll from side to side and pull myself up, shaking my head. I go straight to the bathroom and take an icy cold shower, change into my usual blue get-up; a blue shirt, pants  and my brown old boots and leave for school.

Usually it's forbidden to skip school, but since District 4 became one of the Capitol's favorites along side District 1 and 2, that all changed. Your allowed to skip school if you meet the required amount of catch daily. I won't skip school since it's the only time I can hang around with my only best friends Page and Louie. As I run faster, I pass by people, bump into some. Then I just had to crash into a poor old lady . . . but she isn't because of the sweets scattered all around her.

"I'm so sorry!" I say, picking up the sweets.

"No, it's my fault dear," The old lady says, helping me pick up the remaining chocolate.

No offense but why did she have to buy that much sweets. I mean- she could get a heart attack or . . . something. Certainly she can eat some but, the whole lot? No, maybe she has a daughter . . . or son? Chocolate, Chocolate, I think, expensive yummy chocolate . . . Chocolate . . . you can only get it from the Capitol. And if you can, it could cost you  a fortune!

"Pardon me, where did you buy those?" I ask curiously.

The old lady says nothing. "Um, Are those for you?" I ask.

She shakes her head, "It's for someone . . . who loves sugar."

"Oh, sorry I thought it was for you," I say. I continue walking down the busy streets until I reach the school. I was right, I am late. I think. My best friend Page links her arms together with mine and we both walk to class.
