The Destructive Soul Within My Soul

Ni Chang used to be a very beautiful water sprite and had a secret crush on Prince Yunlan of the Sea. She then became jealous of Shen Wei because all of Prince Yunlan's attentions only goes to Shen Wei. She felt betrayed by them and puts all the blame on Shen Wei. Totally consumed by jealousy that clouded her mind, which eventually led her later to become the dark shadow.

Shen Wei wiped his blood off his lips and slowly made his way towards Ni Chang.

"You have never changed Ni Chang! No matter how many centuries had passed. You are still blinded by jealousy."

Ni Chang who was still struggling on the floor started to back away, knowing what this Shen Wei is capable of doing to her.

"How..how are you here?" Ni Chang asked trying to buy some more time for her to restore her strength.

"I'm here for the same reason you're here, to finish off what was left undone. You followed us until now. Don't think that I don't know what you have done. You tried to harm me knowing where I was going to reborn. Look at what you have turned yourself into. Just a dark shadow that feeds on greed." As he stood before her with piercing gaze.

"So you knew of my plan long ago?" She snickered and started to laugh manically. "Yes! I did everything." She began to admits.

"I constructed such a perfect plan. I planted greeds upon these selfish human's hearts. When Shen Yi found that cursed pearl, that was when I knew the whereabouts of your reincarnation. I instilled greeds within Zhu Zhen's heart so that he would steal the pearl from Shen Yi, hoping that harm would come upon you. But luck was always on your side. You came to possess such powerful necklace." Ni Chang slowly gets up on her feet and continued revealing the truth.

"And same goes with Zhu Jiu! I instigated him to steal that necklace and harm you so that I could take over your body. But even so, I still could not possess your body because your soul went to take shelter with the cursed pearl. But why? Why is fate always on your side? Why?!!" She now started to cry out hysterically.

"So you harmed Yunlan by using the gunman, just to get me?" Shen Wei took a deep breath to suppress in his destructive rage.

"Yes..." Without allowing her to finish her sentence, Shen Wei immediately swung his dark power at Ni Chang as she went flying.

Shen Wei instantly flew up and caught her by the neck mid-air before she hits the ground, releasing more darker energy when he's mad. He wanted to break her neck but could not do so, even if he was the star of destruction. So he slowly loosened his grip on her neck and descended down as he dropped her to the floor.

Shen Wei closed his eyes and took another calming breath as he turned his back on her. "Leave here and don't come back! Go before I change my mind and destroy you for good!" Shen Wei warned.

Ni Chang grinned evilly from behind, as she quietly gets up on her feet with hidden ball of energy forming in her palms.

Yunlan started to feel swarm of energy forming within his body as it began to circulate around the center where the pearl is located. Following Wang's directions, he pushed his power outward with full force and released himself from his paralysis.

"I can move now!" He stood up triumphantly and immediately ran out to look for Shen Wei.

When he finally found Shen Wei, he saw the dark shadow sneakily wanting to attack Shen Wei from behind. "Xiao Wei!"

"DIE!!" She smirked and swiftly shoots her hidden power towards Shen Wei.

In a flash, Yunlan blocked the attack from Ni Chang, which knocked him down to the ground.

"Ah Lan!" Shen Wei screamed and beamed his dark destructive power like a chain that wrapped around her body. This time without mercy, he squeezed the chain tightly as it glows and shred Ni Chang's shadow into pieces as she dissipated.

But Shen Wei continued to release his dark power. He could not control the destructive power once it has been released within him, as it now had overtook his conscience. The destructive force kept getting heavier and the place within Yunlan's deepest mind began to shook and started to crumble apart.

"Xiao Wei! Stop!" Yunlan called as he tried to get up.

Then came Wang's voice from above. "Yunlan, you must stop Shen Wei before he harms himself and your body! Remember we're in your deepest mind. He cannot sustain that power within him."

Without further ado, Yunlan fasten himself towards Shen Wei, noticing again the lifeless darkened pupils in Shen Wei's eyes. "Xiao Wei....stop!" And hugged him tightly in his arms. The pearl within Yunlan's body and Shen Wei's necklace started to interact together which slows down the dark energy from rising. Shen Wei now weakly body started to wobble in Yunlan's embrace.

"Now go towards that light ahead of you! Hurry! Your deepest mind has started to weakened, it will collapse and you both will be trapped here!" Wang's voice instructed.

Yunlan quickly picked up Shen Wei and carried him towards the direction that Wang had pointed.

Mr. Zhao, Da Qing and the Shen's family were all sitting down discussing what should further be done. When suddenly, the lights and the heart monitor started to flicker and beeps relentlessly and then all of a sudden, it just stopped.

"What's happening?" Da Qing yelled.

They all got up from their seats and rushed towards the beds to check on the couple. The doctor and nurses had already started rushing in to check on them as well.

At that moment, Yunlan and Shen Wei opened their eyes and breathed heavily, coughing and gasping for air.

"Yunlan!"

"Wei!"

The family called their names and started rushing to them in happiness, pushing the doctor and nurses aside. While Yunlan and Shen Wei just kept looking at each other tenderly as they hold hands.

"Ah Lan!"....."Xiao Wei" They both weakly called each other.
