The Jealous Ghost Boy

Customers were making complaints about their iced drink that somehow seemed to melt fast despite the well maintained air conditioned facility. The poor owner of the cafe were clueless of the situation as he tried to fix the A/C, although nothing was wrong with it.

In the corner of that cafe was Shen Wei, who sat by himself with arms crossed while his lower lip protruded in a sulky pout. Eyes burning with fire, sending electrical glares at Yunlan and Zhu Hong having there sweet moments together. Well that is what he thought because Yunlan had totally neglected him ever since that women shows up.

"Snake women! You want to seduce my Ah Lan." Shen Wei thought inwardly, thinking of ways to get rid of her.

Actually Yunlan and Zhu Hong were just catching up on things since they haven't seen each other in years. And Da Qing had excused himself to go check on what Yunlan had asked him to do earlier, leaving the two alone together.

"So what were you doing at Central Hospital?" Yunlan asked.

Zhu Hong observed Yunlan's demeanor closely before answering him. She remembered what Da Qing had told her on the phone. Yunlan is always wearing that sunglasses, and talks to himself. While making their way to the cafe, Zhu Hong had noticed that Yunlan is always turning his head around to look at something behind them. And now his head is turning to look at a certain corner. "Could be a sign of paranoia!" she thoughts.

"I work there now as a psychologist!" Zhu Hong puts down her cup and looks at Yunlan. "Are you under stress Yunlan, why are you always wearing that sunglasses?" Zhu Hong asked.

Yunlan chuckled at her statement. "Stress? Me? Never! I'm doing fine and better!" Yunlan lifts up his melted iced coffee to drink.

"Then why don't you take off that sunglasses? I want to see your handsome face clearly. I missed you!" Zhu Hong said as she caresses one of his hand that was resting on the table.

Jealousy flared and Shen Wei had enough. "YOU SNAKE WOMEN!" Shen Wei got up and yelled loudly that made Yunlan chokes on his coffee.

Zhu Hong grabbed some tissues to wipe his mouth and patted his back as he was still coughing from the sudden choke.

"DON'T TOUCH HIM! I SAY DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Shen Wei yelled in madness, causing all the lights to flicker on and off, as the tables and chairs started to tremble abruptly.

The other customers panics and started screaming as they ran quickly out the building thinking that it was an earthquake. Zhu Hong also followed the rest not realizing that Yunlan is still inside!

"SHEN WEI STOP! SHEN WEI!" Yunlan shouts out, trying to stop his ghost boy.

But Shen Wei could not hear Yunlan, it seems like his senses had been blocked out by his madness. Yunlan saw in Shen Wei's eyes that darkness had overtaken his usual bright orbs.

Yunlan quickly pulled Shen Wei in for a hug, as he soothe him dearly in his embrace. "Xiao Wei...enough..stop!" Yunlan whispered in his ear which brought Shen Wei out of his maddened state.

"Ah Lan!" Shen Wei called out weakly as his energy force were drained.

Yunlan cupped Shen Wei's face now seeing that the bright beautiful orbs of his is back to normal. "You scared me Xiao Wei." Yunlan brought their foreheads together.

"I'm tired Ah Lan, carry me." Shen Wei was losing energy fast and was stumbling.

Yunlan immediately picks up his ghost boy and dashes out the back exit of the building.

Eyes slowly twitches open and feeling that his head is resting on something soft. Shen Wei looks up seeing Yunlan's face looking down at him and caressing his head. He slowly gets up just to see that they are on a bench at a lake park.

"What are we doing here and what happened?" Shen Wei asked.

"I should be asking you instead. What happened to you back there?" Yunlan questioned back, looking at Shen Wei lost expression.

Shen Wei thought back to what had happened, now remembering that he was neglected and Zhu Hong flirting with Yunlan. Shen Wei started to sulk and moved further away to sit at the edge of the bench.

Yunlan rubs the back of his neck in confusion, not understanding the sudden behavior of his ghost boy.

They remained silent for awhile because Shen Wei doesn't respond back when Yunlan tried to talk to him. Until something caught Shen Wei's eyes and Yunlan had noticed.

"Here!" Yunlan gave Shen Wei the cotton candy that he saw Shen Wei kept eyeing on.

Immediately Shen Wei's eyes started to sparkle and a beautiful smile made its way to his face. Shen Wei wants to hold the cotton candy but it completely went through his hand.

"Open your mouth." Yunlan said, which surprised Shen Wei but he quickly opens his mouth for Yunlan to feed him.

Feeling happy after eating the cotton candy that was being fed by Yunlan. Now Shen Wei is running around popping bubbles that the children nearby were blowing. And every bubble that he pops comes with a beautiful laughter.

Bewitched. Yunlan felt he had been bewitched by his ghost boy. He doesn't know when it started. But he knows that it's too late to stop.

Shen Wei suddenly stops what he was doing and made his way to Yunlan while holding both of his cheeks with a blush so visible.

"Why is your face so red?" Yunlan asked.

Shen Wei sat shyly next to Yunlan. "Ah Lan...have you ever kiss with Zhu Hong?" Shen Wei hesitantly asked, as he just saw couples around the lake park kissing each other.

Yunlan was baffled by the sudden question. "Uh...Ye..es, when we used to date back then in college." Yunlan replied looking at the upset face of his ghost boy.

"What's wrong?" Yunlan was confused.

"Can we try.. Kissing? I want to try." Shen Wei nervously looks down with more red tinted on his cheeks, not able to look at Yunlan.

Yunlan was having a dilemma. Not that he doesn't want to, he actually craves to feel that soft pink lips against his. But Shen Wei is merely a 17 years old boy and in his spirit form. How could he and is it possible?

"You don't want to?" Shen Wei sadly asked. "Do you already have someone you liked?"

Yunlan quickly pulled Shen Wei in for a tight hug. He started leaning in closer to Shen Wei's face, slowly bit by bit.

Shen Wei's could feel his heart fluttering rapidly and wants to leaps out of his chest. Feeling so eager and excited to be kissed by the man of his dream.

Lips almost touching. "Yes just a bit more!" Shen Wei thought inwardly.

But then...

Yunlan phone started to ring breaking there sweet moments. It was Da Qing who called to report on the progress he had found.

"Yunlan! I got all the video from the surveillance camera at Dragon Mall. And we also tracked down where Zhu Jiu is. So hurry, come now!" Da Qing reported on the phone.

"Okay, I will go there now!" Yunlan answered, looking at the frustrated ghost boy face.

"We should get going. We need to find your necklace." Yunlan said as he gets up and Shen Wei sulkily follows behind.

Yunlan turned to Shen Wei and whispered closely to his ear.

"Do you know the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty?" Yunlan asked and Shen Wei nods to it.

"Then you should know that I'm so in love with sleeping beauty." Yunlan then leans in to kiss Shen Wei on his blushing cheeks.
