The Mysterious Women

Yunlan and the rest of the policemen arrived at a small abandoned cabin where Zhu Jiu and his underlings would meet up to discuss their next robbery plan. "Block all the exits!" Yunlan ordered as they all scattered quietly around the house.

"You sure they are here?" Yunlan whispered to Da Qing as they approaches the door.

Da Qing nodded in response.

Yunlan quickly kicked the door open but to find no one inside as they searched around the cabin. Yunlan felt one of the coffee cup that was left on the table. "It's still hot! They just escaped, hurry search the surrounding areas!" Yunlan shouted out to the other policemen.

Zhu Jiu has many underlings working for him everywhere. One of them that were on his way to the cabin, spotted many police cars headed to the house, so he had informed Zhu Jiu to make a run.

"Ah Lan, they ran this way! I can feel human energy forces." Shen Wei pointed as he closes his eyes.

Zhu Jiu was running through the woods by himself while his underlings went a different route, because it was easier to escape alone.

Yunlan had caught up and surprised attack Zhu Jiu as he kicks him down to the ground. But cunning as Zhu Jiu is, he grabbed some dirt on the ground and threw it at Yunlan's face. As Yunlan tried to block it with his arms, Zhu Jiu took the opportunity and pulled out a gun to shoot at Yunlan.

"Ah Lan!" Shen Wei yelled and hurriedly went infront of Yunlan to block the bullet for him.

Zhu Jiu widened his eyes in disbelief, he could only see his bullet floating in mid-air and then dropped to the ground. "What the...!!"

He wanted to shoot again but it was too late because Yunlan quickly fired his gun and shot Zhu Jiu's hand that were holding the gun. Zhu Jiu fell to the ground in pain while clutching his bleeding hand.

Da Qing and the rest came to the scene and quickly arrested the injured Zhu Jiu who is howling in pain on the ground. "You chameleon! Finally got you!" Da Qing handcuffed him.

Again Shen Wei was losing energy fast, as his legs started to wobble and almost fell backward but Yunlan caught him on time.

"Xiao Wei!" Yunlan quickly picks him up and carries him on his back.

"Da Qing! Treat his hand and quickly bring him back for interrogation. I will meet you at the station!" Yunlan carried Shen Wei and headed to the car first.

"I'm okay, I just need to rest a bit." Shen Wei said as Yunlan puts him down in the front seat of the car and drove off.

As they were driving, they saw a women from a far standing at the side of the road. The women was dressed in all white and had such long hair that covered most of her face.

"Maybe she needs a ride?" Shen Wei asked and Yunlan pulled over.

"You need a ride?" Yunlan asked the women from the side of Shen Wei's window. The women nodded and Yunlan told her to take the back seat.

Shen Wei somehow was a little uncomfortable with the presence of the strange women. She had a strong aura that were making him feeling unsteady. He also felt like he had seen her somewhere before. So he took a glance at the women from the rear view mirror and thought he saw the women smiling back at him, but he wasn't sure.

"Can she see me? Could it be a coincidence?" Shen Wei thought inwardly.

"So where are you heading to?" Yunlan asked the women, but came no response.

He wanted to ask again, but the women then started to talk.

"His time will be up soon! He's losing his life spiritual energy. Find the item quickly before he disappears like a bubble with no return." the women said in her raspy voice.

Yunlan breaks the car suddenly upon hearing what the women had just said. He turned to look at her but only to find an empty back seats. The women had disappeared.

"I'm scared Ah Lan. Will I really disappear?" Shen Wei cried out.

Yunlan quickly took Shen Wei's hand and puts it on his face to assures him. "No you won't. I won't allow that! We will find the necklace soon."

But inside, Zhao Yunlan was actually afraid for the first time in his life. He was afraid to lose his ghost boy. He sped up the car to get to the station as quickly as possible to interrogate Zhu Jiu. He was determined to find Shen Wei's necklace and he will, by any means.

"Do you remember him?" Yunlan showed Zhu Jiu a picture of Shen Wei.

Zhu Jiu took a quick glance and smirks which irritated Yunlan so badly. "Of course, who would forget such a beautiful boy, too bad he wouldn't let me taste......" Before Zhu Jiu could finish his sentences, a hard punch knocked him off his chair.

"You talk crap like that about him again and I swear you get more than this." Yunlan threatened.

Zhu Jiu glared at him and spits out blood from his mouth. At that moment Da Qing knocks on the door and came inside the room.

"You did it again Yunlan. Just don't kill him okay!" Da Qing helps Zhu Jiu back to his seat.

"You find anything from the surveillance camera at the mall?" Yunlan asked Da Qing as he wipes Zhu Jiu's blood off his knuckles.

"Nope! That day the mall had problem with their security system. So that part of the mall surveillance camera did not work. By the way, we searched the cabin. We only found this wallet that belongs to Shen Wei and nothing else. He may have sold the necklace." Da Qing reported.

Yunlan angrily looked at Zhu Jiu, who seems to always have that smirk plastered to his face.

"I give you one more chance, tell me where is his necklace. Did you sold it?" Yunlan suppressed his temper that can erupts any second now.

Zhu Jui remained silent still with his smirk.

Da Qing gulps down his saliva. "Hey chameleon, I think it's best if you tell him now. Since he is still asking you nicely." Da Qing suggested for his own good.

Still Zhu Jiu remained silent.

Yunlan started to chuckle. "I see you like it the hard way! Fine!"

Yunlan then turned to look at his ghost boy who's behind Da Qing. "Close your eyes!"

Da Qing thought that Yunlan was talking to him so he closed his eyes.

Shen Wei also covers his eyes with both hands. He was actually afraid seeing Yunlan looking so serious.

Yunlan slowly walks his way towards Zhu Jiu with one hand in his pocket. Zhu Jiu could see sinister in Yunlan's eyes, accompanied by the evil smirk on his face that he knew very well of. For once Zhu Jui was feeling afraid as his muscles started to tense.

Yunlan quickly grabbed Zhu Jiu wounded hand and plunged a pen right into it.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Zhu Jiu wailed loudly that shook the whole police station.

"There he goes again!" said one of the officer named Ling Jing who happens to pass by the interrogation room. He ignored it and just walks off to do his own thing. No one wants to mess with Zhao Yunlan at this point.

"So Zhu Jiu! Let's try answering that again!" Yunlan took out another pen from his pocket and tapped to the table, giving him another smirk.

Zhu Jiu was in great agony as he tried to swallow his pain and gasping for air, which made it difficult for him to speak. "I...I...I really don't.. know..ah..anything about that necklace!" Zhu Jiu finally admitted.....the hard way.
