Izuku stood in the bedroom of his childhood home packing up what was left of his room. The greenett bopped his head along with the music blasting through the speakers as he moved steadily around the room dancing alone in the nearly empty space to the beats of random songs.

To say this happy emerald eyed boy was excited was an understatement. Izuku Midoriya was ecstatic. Ecstatic about his new adventure that was getting ready to unfold, and this adventure was starting his first year of college majoring in photography. Although the greenett was anxious he was hoping this new chapter of his life would finally open up new doors for him.

Izuku had always been known as the shy kid. The one who was hardly noticed. He was quiet and reserved, had done well in school with grades, was loved by teachers, but nerdy to students. He never went to parties or dances, never even came close to getting into any kind of trouble. He had anxiety issues making him shelter himself most of his nineteen years of life. He had surrounded himself with books and reading, and developed a deep love for taking pictures. The shy greenett was hardly ever found without a camera in his hands taking shots of landscapes, sunsets, people too on occasion.

The pretty eyed greenett hadn't even really dated much. He had a few dates here and there but never a real relationship. His friend group was small even, or non existant outside of his best friend Shoto who had been friends with Izuku since middle school. Shoto Todoroki was a year older than Izuku and was in his second year of the same college the greenett would now be attending. Shoto was one of the few people Izuku had always fully trusted enough to let his guard down around and be himself. The bicolored male had always looked out for the greenett, knowing how Izuku had always been so shy and nervous.

The heterochromia eyed male was currently stepping into Izuku's room to help him move his things into the dorms.

Shoto smiled seeing his bestfriend dancing around his room with packing tape in his hand. He stood in the doorway with pocketed hands chuckling at the scene.

" Wow Midoriya, where you been hiding those moves all these years?" ,he teased.

Izuku turned quickly an instant blush covering his cheeks as he met his friends teasing gaze.

The greenett rolled his eyes throwing the tape he was holding in the direction of the snickering male.

" Shut up Sho, and you've seen me dance before.", Izuku defended with a grin.

Shoto smiled.

" Yeah, but I don't really think you dancing around the livingroom after you beat me at a game of Uno yelling "oh yeah in your face!" when we were thirteen counts"

Izuku giggled at the memory.

" Totally counts, and don't be jealous because I'm better at both dancing and Uno than you are" the greenett said sticking his tongue out as he picked up a box carrying it downstairs out to Shoto's car.

It didn't take long before the last of Izuku's things had been packed up in Shoto's black Jeep.

Izuku walked back into the house seeing his mother hand him his backpack with tears threatening her soft green eyes.

The greenett felt his heart hurt for her. He knew him leaving was going to be hard on his mother, it had only been the two of them since Izuku's father had taken off on them with he was five. He stepped forward wrapping her in a tight hug.

" I'll miss you mom, but don't worry I'll call and visit as much as I can"

Inko smiled into her son's shoulder as her tears dampened his white tshirt.

" Oh Izuku, I'll miss you so much, but I am so proud of you, I know you are going to do wonderfully. I hope you make a ton of new friends, open yourself up to new people and things Izuku, don't let fear hold you back" , she told him softly as she pulled away looking into his emerald eyes.
