"Yeosang!" Mrs. Kang called out. "I believe you have someone at the door, waiting on you!"

This was it; the day of Jongho and Yeosang's hang out had arrived. Excitedly, Yeosang looked at himself in the mirror one last time as he adjusted the lingering wrinkles on his white blouse. Embarrassingly, he was still not the best at ironing his clothes as well as his mother, but he'll get there eventually.

He hurried over to his closet in search of a sweater of some sort to wear over his blouse, something to compliment the outfit. The tips of his fingers hovered over each of the hanging pieces, his eyes scanning the rack.

"Ah, perfect!" A smile spread over his face as he spotted the cardigan Wooyoung had gifted him back in October. He pulled the piece off the hanger and put it on in a swift motion.

It's so pretty! Yeosang giggled as he checked himself out one last time.

"Yeosang!" His mother called out again. "Don't keep the poor man waiting!"

"Coming!" Yeosang replied, reaching for his phone on top of his dresser. He turned the light off in his room and closed the door behind him. He jogged his way downstairs, giving his mother a kiss on the cheek before waving goodbye.

"Have fun! Be back before 10, please!" Mrs. Kang reminded Yeosang, who nodded and gave her a thumbs up before rushing towards the living room and towards then front door.

Inches away from the door, the nervous boy froze to take a deep breath, closing his eyes. He mentally manifested for this little date of theirs to go well. Once he believed he was ready to face the younger, he let out the breath he had been holding in and opened his eyes. He reached for the doorknob and quickly unlocked the door.

"Hey!" Yeosang greeted as soon as he was met with the face of the smiling other.

"Hello," Jongho said back. "Ready?" Jongho said as he stepped back down from the front door steps. Yeosang nodded, turning around to close the door and lock it behind him.

"I was planning on buying flowers," Jongho began nervously, scratching the back of his head as he looked down at his feet. "But this is just a hang out, not a date. A date would be romantic and we agreed it was just a hang out-"

"It doesn't have to remain as a 'hang out'," Yeosang smiled sheepishly, his lips wrinkling up into a small "v". Jongho's eyes widened, eyes averting from the ground.

"Do you want this to be a date?" Jongho chuckled. Yeosang shrugged before he stepped off the stair way and began walking away. "Yeo, come on!" Jongho whined with a smile on his face.

The two made their way to the train station as neither were able to afford a car to begin with. However, neither complained as the walk there was pleasant, talking and laughing throughout the whole way. The train ride to their destination consisted of the same atmosphere.

"So you've never tried funnel cakes?" Yeosang arched an eyebrow at Jongho, not believing what he had just heard.

"No, I swear!" Jongho chuckled. "Every time I've come across the chance to trying it, something comes up and I never get the chance to try it."

"That's so bogus." Yeosang shakes his head, laughing in disbelief. "We're getting funnel cakes today, no matter what!"

"Of course! I can take you to that little shop two blocks from where we're going! We always pass by there and I never get to try it." Jongho agreed, looking out the window next to him.

"Sounds great!" Yeosang turned to look at Jongho, smiling widely. Although Jongho desperately wanted to meet his gaze, he felt himself feeling too shy to do so. But regardless, Yeosang's smile had never been as bright as it was displaying today, and Jongho was determined to do whatever he could to keep that smile shining.
