Seonghwa sighed heavily as he reread the last message Yeosang sent. Of course Yeosang was hurt, again. Seonghwa wasn't dumb, he was fully aware that none of Yeosang's grandmothers were around. It was only some lame excuse to avoid feeling left out, to avoid feeling like a third wheel.

He tossed his phone somewhere on his bed before he too threw himself on there. Why am I even going out with Hongjoong tomorrow? He shook his head. Don't get him wrong, Hongjoong is a really nice guy, very caring and outgoing.

But did he really want to ditch Yeosang for Hongjoong? No, not at all. In fact, he was having second thoughts on whether to cancel things with Hongjoong and go out with Yeosang instead. The two could get closer once again and have a good, comfortable time with each other. Maybe cuddle if Yeosang was up for it, steal a couple platonic kisses on the cheek-

No, what the fuck, Seonghwa? That would be too much. Seonghwa reached for the pillow next to him and groaned into it. He couldn't keep denying his attraction for Yeosang anymore, but he couldn't admit his feelings to him either.

The problem was that Seonghwa's parents didn't know he was gay. If he suddenly came out to them and they didn't accept him, it would only hurt him and Yeosang. He wanted something with Yeosang, something official. But what if he confessed his feelings for Yeosang, got rejected and possibly disowned by his parents? He'd have nowhere to go.

And what if things got awkward afterwards? Yeosang and him had been friends for a long time, he wouldn't want to ruin their friendship like that. So maybe, he'd remain in the closet for a while.

His hangout with Hongjoong was okay. The two had went to the mall to buy some art supplies for Hongjoong's club in the mornings and Thursday afternoons. Things were going smooth, Seonghwa being his usual clingy self, until that girl took all of Hongjoong's attention.

The two had happen to be shopping through the same aisle while Seonghwa went to search for some stuff he could buy for himself. When he returned, the two were not so subtly flirting with each other. Of course Seonghwa felt uncomfortable, for multiple reasons actually. He was third wheeling and standing awkwardly, the stuff they said to each other had very unsubtle hidden messages, and he knew that his plan would fall apart.

Now, what was his plan? Seonghwa originally wanted to have Hongjoong become closer to him and maybe start going out. Maybe this way, he could see how his parents react about Seonghwa bringing a guy home and not a girl like a normal, good Christian boy would. If his parents felt okay with it, then finally he could build the courage to confess to Yeosang and not be afraid to bring him around and show him off.

Seonghwa knew all of this was wrong. Using Hongjoong and pushing Yeosang away? He really couldn't take it, but he didn't know what to do. At times, even he thought his plan was the dumbest thing ever.

"How about we exchange numbers, yeah?" Hongjoong suggested. The pink-haired girl agreed immediately and took her phone out. They gave each other their names and numbers before waving goodbye. It hadn't been five minutes later when Hongjoong began texting non-stop.
