Part 12: Backstage

An hour passed and I was still waiting for Katie to show up. It was kind of getting ridiculous.

"Where the hell is she?" I sighed.

"Where is who?" Ashton asked.

"My cousin. She's a huge fan so I got her a backstage pass and at this rate she won't even be back here for an hour."

"SKY!!!!" I heard a voice from the doorway.

"KAY!!!!'"' I ran an hugged her.

"It's been way too long! I've missed you!" I started crying.

"I've missed you too!" She cried.

"Babe are you okay?" I heard Luke's voice ask.

"Yeah I'm just really happy to see Katie. It's been 3 years."

"I can't believe you guys are real like, Not real like I mean." Katie's face turned red.

"It's fine we know what you mean." Calum said.

Her mouth dropped. Yep she's a Calum girl. Has been since she saw their cover of "Next to You". She wasn't able to talk.

"So Katie have you been a fan for long?" He continued.

"Uhh uhh a long time," she stuttered.

"Hey I don't bite I promise," Calum said laying his hand on her shoulder. A smile curved up on her face.

"You just make me nervous. You're my favorite." She giggled.

"Aww you guys are cute," I teased. She glared at me. Luke wrapped his arm around my waist. Pulling me close to him. I looked up and smiled.

"What are you smiling at?" He looked down at me.

"I feel safe with you." I blushed. He leaned down and kissed my cheek.

"You're always safe with me." He smirked.

"EWW GET A ROOM YA NASTIES!" Logan yelled walking in. "OH MY GOD KAY IS THAT REALLY YOU WHAT IS THIS OH MY!?" She proceeded to yell.

"Hey Harp it's been a while," she giggled. Logan ran and koala'd her.

"Damn Harper don't break her!" I teased. Logan hopped off and walked over to me.

"What you gonna do about it beeyotch?" She winked.

"Not to interrupt but why do you guys call her Harper and Harp?" Luke asked confused.

"It's my middle name dingbat. Remember it." Logan said snapping her fingers.

While they were arguing I got lost in thought. I was second guessing things again. I felt bad for it but I'm just an average girl and he's not even close to average. I could feel him looking at me.

"Do you want to go somewhere and talk?" He murmured. All I could do was nod, a single tear running down my face.

He grabbed my hand leading me out of the dressing room and down the hall. We walked into the empty room and closed the door.

"What's going on?" He said pulling me into a hug.

"I'm just, I don't know. Luke I've been keeping something from you." I pulled out of the hug and turned my back to him.

"Sky, you can tell me anything," he said grabbing my hand.

"Luke, before we met I-I was in the hospital.." I trailed off.

"Sky.." He murmured.

"I was in there under suicide watch." More tears streamed down my face, "and I'm terrified that if.."
