"You wrote this when you were 12?" Calum asked in disbelief.

"Yes but I went back through it, made changes in the past few years." I blushed, "is it that bad?"

"Skylar this isn't even close to bad," Luke smiled as he put his arm around me. "Is this the song you were humming in the shower that one day at the hotel?"

"Yeah," I blushed brighter. "You aren't just telling me its good to be nice are you?"

"No Sky this is amazing!" Ashton said while staring at the screen, trying to memorize everything I did with the drums.

"You played all of this yourself?" Michael questioned.

"Yeah except for the things with the orchestra that was a couple kids back home."

"Boys we need John over here now to listen to this," Ashton's smile grew.

"One step ahead of you Ash," Calum chuckled as he showed us his texts.

"What? Guys no, its really not that great." I was in udder shock that they liked it. I'm an amateur musician compared to them and they are acting as if its the greatest thing they've ever seen or heard.

The boys stared at the screen looking at everything I did, ignoring me as much as they could. They chuckled at me as I continued to try to grab their attention. Luke turned to me, then grabbed my hand leading me out of the room. I followed him, asking where we were going. He didn't say a word just continued to lead me through the house.

After countless hallways and a few stairs, we ended up in a room I hadn't seen on our little house tour. Navy blue carpeting covered the floors. The walls were painted a soft gray and along them were shelves filled with tons of vinyl records, CDs, EPs, just years and years worth of pure music genius. The back wall was pure glass looking out over part of the city. On the wall next to the door sat a smaller shelf, about the size you'd use for a TV. On top of it sat a record player and a CD player. In the middle of the room sat two black futons with a glass table in the middle. Along the floor ran and extension cord, connected to it were multiple phone chargers.

As I walked around the room by hand traced the shelves. I walked to the back just staring out of the window, mesmerized by the view in front of me. I heard the spinning of a record and seconds later I felt Luke's arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"Good Charlotte?" I looked up at him, "you read my mind."

I laid my head on his shoulder as he began to speak, "this is my favorite room in the house."

"You can just get lost in the music without a thought in your mind?"

"Exactly, I don't have to think about anything while I'm in here."

"This is honestly incredible, I've always dreamed of having a room like this someday."

"You could one day."

I looked up at him, "I'll never be at this level of success. The only possible way I'd ever achieve this is if I marry rich or get a sugar daddy."

His eyes went wide, "or get a what?"

"You know, a big burly hunk of man that fulfills all of my outrageous requests of things I want. The first thing I think I would ask for would be a monkey butler. Or perhaps a gallon of iced tea. It depends on my mood that day."

"What on Earth is wrong with you? You are going insane."

"I'm just fucking with you," I chuckled. "You should see your face."

He leaned down and kissed me. "Good cuz you're not getting rid of me that easily."

I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the futon. We took a seat. His arm instantly found its way around me as I laid my head on his chest, my legs curled up to the side of me. I let out a sigh, "you'll get tired of me one day. I'll go back to my boring life."

"Nope and that's the end of that! Not everything ends."

"My parents were once in love and look at them now. Their love ended."

"They still love each other they always will. They just lost their spark."

I looked down at my hands and took a deep breath as a tear ran down my cheek, "Luke I'm just being realistic here. Trust me I don't want to lose you, god it would probably kill me, but there's a chance that something better will come along. Someone that can give you more than I can."

"Sky," He breathed while cupping my chin in his hand, raising it to look at him, and wiped the tear away with his thumb. "I love you okay.. I don't want you thinking this way. Maybe we are meant to be and in the slightest chance that we aren't we will cross that bridge when we come to it. But for right now can you just enjoy being my girlfriend."

I nodded my head then proceeded to nuzzle into his chest. "I love you too," I mumbled into his shirt as he planted a soft kiss on my head.

We just sat there for what felt like ages taking in the sounds of the songs around us. Luke singing along softly while playing with my hair. I couldn't help but think about what life would be like without him. That cold depression I felt when we were apart. I never wanted to feel that way again.
