Mercedes was daydreaming about a certain green eyed blond when Russy loudly proclaimed at brunch that his Mercy had a new husband that was nice.

All of her brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews turned as one to stare at her.

Matty Chang began crying. "I'm your husband!"

"Matty, stop crying." Laura Taylor-Jones tried to soothe her little brother. "Mercy still loves you."

Matty sniffled loudly. "Really?"

"Really."

"Who?" My-My Taylor-Jones questioned.

"That's what I'd like to know." Marc Taylor-Jones raised a brow.

"He's not my husband." Mercedes blushed.

"They were touching!" Russy reported.

"Russy!"

"Is that why you didn't click with Azimio?" Quinn grinned. "You already have a boyfriend?"

"So who is it?" Mike Chang demanded.

Mercedes was going to deny it again when Russy yelled, "Sam Evans!" really loudly.

The whole restaurant looked over.

Mercedes was so embarrassed.

"The baseball player?" Marcy frowned a little.

"You're dating a ball player?" Mal Chang raised a brow.

"Ooh! Mama!" Noah "Puck" Puckerman teased.

Tina Chang giggled. "Is he cute?"

"Girl!" Marcy emphasized.

Mal frowned. "Huh?!"

Ellen Chang giggled. "He can't be cute?"

"Stop that!"

"Mommy?" Mally Chang piped up. "If Tia Mercy is married, why didn't we meet him yet?"

"I doubt they're actually married." Marcy smirked. "But your Tia's been keeping secrets."

"Is he really cute?" Mickey Chang wanted to know.

Her father stared at her. "No."

"Oh Daddy." Mickey wrinkled her nose.

Maddie Chang ran her tongue over her teeth. "Does he have a brother?"

"No!" Her older brothers yelled.

"Ooh!" Lisa Fabray's blue eyes sparkled. "What if he's my age?!"

"No!"

"You have a boyfriend." Maddie waved her away.

"I can have two." Lisa was sure.

Marcy shook her head. "Child, one is enough."

"You don't love Daddy?" Sola Chang asked.

"Not at all."

"You're getting a spanking." Mal warned.

Quinn waved him away. "Hush, Mal! Mercy, tell us everything!"

Mercedes was exhausted by her family. She opened her mouth to tell the truth but that was not what flopped out. "It's too new."

The girls squealed as the boys scowled. "Go on!"

"We just met."

Laura got a handle on her girlish squealing. "Okay. Okay. Mercy, invite him to Halloween."

Mercedes was horrified. "But I don't know if he has plans-"

"He does." Quinn tossed her blonde hair. "With us."
