"AND SO HE JUST..STORMED OUT," Teddy exclaimed as she took another bite of her ham and cheese croissant, continuing to speak with her mouth full, "I mean, it's ridiculous." Jane walked next to her best friend on the busy streets of New York City, nodding her head in agreement as she ate her chocolate sprinkled donut. Teddy pouted with her dark brown puppy-dog eyes, her pinkish purple hair matching her wild and chaotic personality.
"He's a bit childish," Jane spoke with a heavy British accent, her mouth being full as well. Her brown hair swayed in the breeze as she reached up to wipe some frosting from her lips.
"Right?!" The girl exclaimed, huffing whilst rolling her eyes, "I mean, he could give my two-year-old niece a run for her damn money." Jane chuckled at this. "Ooh! I've been wanting to stop inside this new store ever since it opened up last Friday, but I never had any time to." The two girls stopped just before a tiny shop called "Sake." Jane glanced at the items in the window to get an idea of what kind of things they sold.
There were antique clothes, jewelry, shoes...it gave off a kind of hippie vibe, which wasn't exactly Jane's style—but it definitely was Teddy's. "Come on, let's go check it out." She was the first one to enter, followed behind Jane, the door chiming as they walked in. The shop had an old musty smell to it, even though it was new. It was quite cluttered inside, looking as if everything wasn't sorted out just yet.
