As Bucky entered the room, he was surprised at how messy and clean it was at the same time. There were papers and blueprints all over the walls, some sheets were thrown near the bin, but there were no clothes on the floor, nothing that would say that he is untidy.
Bucky went to the king sized bed in the middle of one of the walls and put him there. He took of Peters shoes and his hoody under which was a T-shirt. Bucky put is on a chair and opened the door to leave.
"Don't leave" Peter whispered. "Please?"
Bucky turned around and looked him in the eyes.
"Of course, if you want me to" Bucky whispered back and went to the chair. Peter sat up and leaned on the headboard of the bed. "What would you want?" He asked Peter.
"I don't know, to be honest" Peter sighed. "Nothing. For the first time in two years I want nothing" Peter chuckled. "And what do you want?" Peter asked.
"I want nothing too." Bucky responded.
"Would you want to watch something?" Peter offered. "You can choose" He smiled and motioned Bucky where the remote is.
"I-" he started. "I don't know how to use it" he stated and looked son at the floor.
"Oh" Peter said softly. "No worries, I'm gonna show ya how to." Peter suggested. "Come here" Peter patted the space near him on the bed.
"Okay" Buck said and sat where Peter told him to. Why did he have this feeling that he just wants to hold Peter in his arms forever and protect?
"So, first of all-" Peter started and began explaining how to use smart TV, turn on Netflix and other apps. "-any questions?" Peter asked as he finished. Bucky shook his head. "Okie dokie. Now we will be watching 'Friends'". Peter said. "One of my favourites" he chuckled a little.
After the first episode passed, they started to discuss the characters.
"I like Phoebe. She is strange, but she doesn't care what others think" Peter said and yawned. "Ross is funny too but it's sad that his ex wife turned out to be a lesbian."
"It's so strange" Bucky whispered and turned teenager looked at him as saying he should continue. "Technologies, people, it all changed. I still feel like I don't belong here"
"No, silly" Peter put his hand on Bucky's left shoulder, but that movement made Bucky flinch so hand was put away. "It will pass. I'm sure, soon you will be better in technologies than Steve and mock him" Peter smiled. "Want to watch the next episode?" He asked. Barnes nodded and they continued watching the show until Peter started to yawn.
"When was the last time you slept?" Bucky asked.
"I dunno" Peter replied and laid his head on Bucky's right shoulder. "3 days ago, maybe" Pete responded to the question and started to slowly close his eyes.
"I should go then" Bucky summed up. It's a really low chance that Peter needs his help anymore, so yeah.
"No" Peter shortly whispered. "Stay" Peter looked at Bucky. "Please"
Bucky looked at the boy next to him. He was adorable. His big brown eyes, and curls, and the way he smiles. Peter doesn't talk to him as to someone sick, he talked to him as an equal. Not a killer, not a dead friend, not an enemy.
"Of course, Pete" Bucky smiled and leaned at the pillow, "do you want to talk?"
"Yeah, actually" Peter replied and turned around to face Bucky, his senses told him that he needed to say something important. "If I get a panic attack, or sensory overload, cold helps me. What about you? What helps you?" He asked.
"Well-" Bucky started. "They usually just knocked me out, or I was just hoping for it to end, nothing else really. But definitely not cold. Maybe words. And no touching, it could be dangerous for people around me" he supposed.
"If something happens to you, I will find a way to help you without the knocking out part" Peter smiled as he pulled his hands under his pillow. "But let's hope we won't have to find that out"
"Yeah, let's do that" Bucky smiled in response and they were just looking at each other until Peter fell asleep.
Bucky pressed a small kiss on Peters forehead and sat on the chair, looking at the city until he fell asleep too.
