the sun shine through the gaps of our interwined fingers. sitting on the open grass together, giyuu and I stared longingly at our hands.
the clouds that we would gaze apon was shifting into different shapes and animals that I would often point out whenever I spotted one. with this, giyuu would just stay silent and smile, letting out guesses along the time.
some perfect days like this comes with other surprises. such as, sudden pouring rain.
giyuu hurriedly got up and covered the both of us with his uniform's blazer as we ran back inside to the school's building. waters splashing all around as my laughter was barely heard in the pouring weather.
"the both of you are so lovey dovey might as well date," sabito grunted childishly as he helped his friend dry up before going to class.
"we're just friends," I retorted knowing damn well I had feelings for him. giyuu stared at the ground, his drenched sneakers giving him an uncomfortable feeling. he didn't like it.
school finished and I walked home with giyuu like always.
"do you think demons exists?"
I stared at the male in confusion. why was he suddenly asking a random question out of the blue? "well, I'm not sure."
"I heard only a collective few of family in japan has the blood of a demon slayer. my mother told me to never touch the nichirin blade hung up on one of our walls. she said it'll bring bad luck."
"nichirin...," I pondered, "I think I have one at my place to. my parents often tell me that the world used to have demons roaming around."
"I wonder what happened to them."
"not sure, but I think it's better without them."
since today school ended early, giyuu decided to take me out to a museum. our hands clasped together as we walked along the streets while he volunteered to carry both his and my bag.
the museum building wasn't that far away and so we would often stop by small shops sampling their food and pretty much buying any food we could get before entering the museum.
"I should buy this," I looked at giyuu who nodded in agreement as I paid for the bread. it seemed fresh out of the oven so I wrapped in and stored it in our bag.
once we entered the building, giyuu took out his polaroid and urged me to stand in front of a picture that caught his eyes first.
I posed, a big smile placed on my lips. giyuu's eyes sparkled with sastifaction as he took a few snaps. the polaroid slowly printed out, flapping out the paper and seeing my figure near the painting.
"you look cute," giyuu said.
"ah. do I? hahahah..."
I was hella nervous. maybe I was just not used to the compliments from giyuu. we continued our journey and went further into the museum, not forgetting to take pictures and of course-admire the art pieces.
there wasn't many people here, but there was a few students.
"stand here giyuu," I told him whilst grabbing both sides of his shoulders and ushered him to stand next to the statue in the middle before taking out a sketchbook from my bag.
