I arrived at the headquarters after cleaning myself up in my estate. Everyone was already there standing and chatting before master arrived.
two kashiras escorted tanjiro to the front, meeting eyes with the pillars. I stood next to rengoku as he stood still with his usual smile on his face. we stood patiently watching as tanjiro was still unconscious but was awakened by the kashira who took him here.
"this is the demon corps headquarters. You'll be starting your trial kamado tanjiro-kun," shinobu spoke.
"pillars?" tanjiro mumbled confusingly before his eyes widened, "nezuko? Nezuko? Zenitsu? Inosuke?"
"he's not even tied up but he's already giving me a headache," iguro mumbled, as he perched on a branch, "what type of punish will giyu receive?"
I glanced at the snake pillar annoyed slightly before turning my head along with the others towards tomioka. He stood away from us not uttering a single word.
"as for y/n-san, she did nothing even knowing that the boy was with a demon," iguro added. Flinching at my name I shoot the male a glare. Really? I'm offended. I just wanted some tea geez.
"but-" before I was able to reason myself.
"let's just think about the punishment later ok?," shinobu smiled, "you've brought a demon, you do know it's against the corps rule," she continued back to tanjiro.
the rookie had trouble talking, shinobu went and gave him some painkiller water. He had explained that nezuko is his sister and would not consume any human flesh. Iguro seemed dissatisfied letting out his thoughts followed by the other pillars. Rolling my eyes I let out a small groan. This conversation was filled with only beliefs that the hashiras heard. It is possible to gain energy without consuming human.
sanemi had entered the scene later holding onto tanjiro's box. He stabbed through the box taking out his sword covered in blood. I watched quietly as tanjiro bursted in rage jumping to sanemi and head butting him, knocking the hashira down. I let out a gasp.
"wait this shit kinda cool," I muttered excitedly. The other pillars seemed to be in shock as I had a grin on my face. I've never found sanemi quite polite, but I respected him either way.
the pillars stared at me as I only shrugged my shoulders, "what?"
"lord oyakata-san has arrived," the same twins spoke appearing in the scene just in time before sanemi held his sword towards tanjiro.
The same twins that was at the final selection stood next to master's side. His face was filled with scars and he was apparently blind. as he arrived we greeted respectfully.
master had suggested for nezuko to be able to work along the demon corps. Everyone was against the idea shocked. I kept quiet knowing quite well master have his reasons.
