Watari- No, Matsuda

L's POV

Pull? Maybe he remembers using it like this before? We both looked down at the watch in my hand. I reached out to pull the metal and just as I did- *click*

Nothing happened. Do I need to pull it again? *click*

...

Absolutely nothing. This isn't working. Maybe this is just a distraction. A waste of time. "There could be more into it. Maybe Kira knew you would try to open it. He wouldn't make it easy to find if there's something hiding in that watch." Light may be right. But still what answers could this watch even give me?

"You can take this back Light-kun." I was still unsure but... "Fixating on this is just a waste of time." I turned to the cushion to leave it on there. I was just about to put it down when I felt Lights arms wrapping around me and his voice in my ear. "You can keep it, I know you won't be satisfied once you figure it out." I felt flustered again. "I'll even let you tear it apart."

"Well that is really generous of you Light-kun but I think we both know I'm more than capable of opening it without tearing it apart."I put the watch in my pocket. Best to hold onto it for now. There's no harm in looking at it later.

Light was still hugging me and not letting go. "You aren't falling asleep, are you Light?" He sighed in my ear. "Well I am awake but I could sleep better this way." No way. I need him to tell me all the little things about the dream he had. Every detail.

"Don't go to sleep yet, I still need you to tell me about the dream you had while its fresh in your memory. We won't be able to discuss this freely soon so I need you to tell me in detail-"

Light cut me off by dragging me next to him. Not letting go of me. I couldn't escape his arms aswell. "Wait! Light you can't go to sleep. I told you I need to erase the footage before Watari comes."

...Is he even hearing me. I told him not to sleep.

"I don't have much time. We were lucky Watari was busy with preparations for Higuchi. He would normally be checking the surveillance for now..."

Still no answer.

Light's POV

I knew it! It's only me and L in here!
"And you know how to erase it,Ryuzaki?"

L's POV

I knew it! Of course you weren't sleeping! "I was thinking of talking to you through your dreams but-" I felt Light's lips brushing my left cheek.

"You do realise this won't be a secret if you keep acting this way Light." He squeezed me tighter. I felt his soft hair touching my ear. "You don't enjoy me hugging you Ryuzaki?" I sighed. "I- That's not what I'm saying."

He started playing with my hair with his other hand while speaking right in my ear. "You know I can act around others but now, I just want to make the most of having you to myself."

Sigh, we would have no more time together if one us dies. I tried standing up to get a little away from him. I was blushing so hard and was embarrased. "Hey where are you going?" I tried to lay down facing him. "I'm not going anywhere, I just wanted to keep the position I usually stayed at."

Light looked at me with sadness in his eyes and I could see he was hurt. "Why don't you want to hold me, Ryuzaki?" Light... I'm scared of letting my feelings consume me but.. "Sorry, Light-kun. I'm not very good at these things. Once I kicked someone for trying to hug me because I thought they were attacking me."

Light opened his arms wide and smiled. "Come, Ryuzaki. No one's getting kicked this time. You can do whatever you want." I can do this. With Light... I wrapped my hands around him. I felt his warmth through his clothes. He hugged me back and we cuddled for a good minute. I almost fell asleep in his arms. I wish I could stay like this. Without worrying about anything. I felt safe with Light. I could feel his heart beating. I wonder if he can feel mine. Only if we could stop time and stay like this...forever...

He kept his arms around me then leaned back a little to face me. "Not as bad as you thought?" I looked at him. He looked so..."Yes, much better. I like this a lot." How could someone like him like me...? "You look cute Ryuzaki." We both know that isn't true... But I felt embarrased.

He teased me a little bit before he continued. "Hey, Ryuzaki. I call you cute and you don't even react. Any girl would've melted by that compliment."

I looked at Light's brown sparkly eyes again. "Maybe you didn't realise this Light-kun but I'm not a girl. and you weren't being serious, were you. No one has ever called me "cute". (Well except for that girl who watched Light and I play tennis I guess) so I figured you were joking."

Light's POV

Oh Ryuzaki you have no idea do you....

I held him closer to myself and I felt his legs curled up between mine. So close the only thing separating our faces were our noses, just about to touch each other.

I wispered on his lips. "You are cute, L"

"Its Ryu...zaki.." I embraced his lips with mine and kissed him passionately. I grabbed him tighter and felt his breath getting heavier and heavier.

Matsuda's POV

Ahhh I'm so thirsty... What time even is it...? I got up from my bed searching for the kitchen to grab something to drink. I hated how huge this place was. Everything was so complicated and I always lost my way.

I got upstairs searching for the cafeteria but I found someplace better.

Yes! I ran towards the door which Watari always came from when he brought L snacks to eat. I could already imagine the cupcakes waiting for me behind that door.

I opened it just to see the huge cams with the sign "Live Surveillance Cams"

Bingo! Even though there's no food in here I can probably search for the cafeteria with the cameras instead of walking around this huge building. I started going through all the cams. Misa's floor...No no not this one either...

As I was searching for the cafeteria-
