I had to write this chapter 3 times all over again because wattpad kept deleting it...sooo sorry if I made any mistakes.

Light's POV

It was time. The day we capture Higuchi. Before we started everything L was busy doing his last touch-up. I looked outside the window. I felt something inside me but I didn't know what it was. I hoped everything would just go on as expected. We capture him and this hell of a case ends. But I know that wasn't going to happen. Because I was Kira. I know I was. But I didn't remember...

Ryuzaki walked towards me. It was only us in the room. The others were, well busy preparing the set. I could feel his presence behind me. I know he had the same feeling.

I looked at his face. He smiled a little. Ryuzaki... I love you... I still couldn't say it for some reason. I gave him a tight hug and closed my eyes. He was startled but then hugged me back. We just stayed there. In silence, just listening to each others hearts. Beating. Faster and faster every second. I didn't want to let him go. I felt Ryuzaki burying his head on my shoulder. Atleast we could stay like this for a while.

We did it. Higuchi was cornered by god knows how many police cars. My dad walked towards the car Higuchi was in, grabbing Higuchi by the colar.

L talked into the microphone connected to his headset. "Higuchi, how do you kill?" Higuchi hesitated to answer for a second, but then realised it was pointless.

He pointed towards the car "The notebook." Huh? What the hell is he talking about?

"There's a notebook that can kill a person if you write their name into it, if you know their face."

Huh? Was he joking? I glanced over Ryuzaki but his face didn't express any emotion. He didn't look at me at all. He kept his eyes straight on Higuchi.

My dad searched the car and walked outside holding a notebook. "Ryuzaki, there is a notebook here- AHHHHHH!". My dad fell on the ground pointing towards...nothing while screaming "monster".

What the hell was going on? A few policemen that walked over to help my dad also started yelling.

"Yagami-san, please get the notebook here.". My dad got himself together and walked towards us with the notebook.

Ryuzaki snatched the notebook off of him. He grabbed it and looked where tis "monster" was suppose to be. And as he did, his eyes were getting wider and wider by the second. He opened his mouth slightly.

"There...are two notebooks..." What was he talking about...?

"Hey Ryuzaki! Let me take a look!" I reached over and got the notebook off of his hands while he was still spaced out.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
