Harry’s POV
This hangover felt different than other hangovers. My head wasn’t pounding; it felt more like it was buzzing. I rolled over in the bed and realized that it wasn’t my head that was buzzing, but my cell phone. I fumbled with the phone to unlock it and answer.
“Hello?” I said groggily, the sound of my own voice making my head hurt.
“HARRRRYYYYYYY. You alright this morning?” I heard a too enthusiastic voice greeted me.
“Nick. I’m feeling…well I’ve felt better,” I admitted, “how are you sounding so chipper this morning?”
“Lots and lots of water is key Styles. Have to keep hydrated. So you had a good time last night, then?”
“Yeah it was a blast,” I tried to keep my voice down so that I didn’t wake the sleeping body next to me.
“Well you don’t SOUND like you thought it was a blast. Are you in the library or something?”
“No, I’m not in a library. Just not totally awake.”
“Well you boys walked away with a few awards, I know there must’ve been some celebrating going on. Tell me, Harry. Did you celebrate with anyone special?”
I groaned, “You didn’t get enough of this in last night?”
He laughed on the other line, “Not a chance. Just tell me Harry are you home right now?”
“Am I home?”
“Yes. Let’s say I was standing outside your house right now waiting for you to open the door. Would you be there to let me in?”
“Am I on the air right now, Nick?”
“What?! Would I do that to you?”
I chuckled, “Of course you would.”
“Are you home right now, Harold?”
“Are you outside?”
“Hypothetically.”
I cleared my throat, “After the show last night we met up with our crew and celebrated the wins with them. We all stayed in a hotel so we wouldn’t have to worry about driving.”
“And what hotel would that be?”
“I told you I’ve just woken up. You know I won’t give you my location while you’re on the air.”
“Fair enough just tell me this: are you staying at the same hotel as Anna?”
I knew where this was going but before I could respond Anna rolled over next to me with a whimper, “Who could you possibly—“ I slapped my hand over her mouth before her voice could reach a normal level. I put the phone on speaker so she could hear.
