Chapter 15

They met her there standing next to Stanley's bed. Bill walked next to Stanley who was still sleeping.
"Is he ok?" Beverly asked.
"The nurse gave him meds. He will wake up soon." Eddie answered.
" I will get some drinks, do you want something?" Ben asked
"Water please..." yawn Stanley who just woke up.
He looks at all his friends then he looked down. 
"I am sorry, Bill. I shouldn't have done that. I know I scared all of you, but I couldn't take it anymore." he apologised
"Don't be sorry, all that matters is that you are safe." responded Bill
"I am sorry too. I shouldn't have been so rude to you. I was confused by your words and felt hurt. If it is  anyone's fault for what happened is mine. I knew how are you and still hurt your feelings." stuttered Samantha
"I hurt you as well. I am sorry that I pushed you away like that" replied Stan.
"Billy, I want to show something ....come after me."
"Oh no, that's a bug....aaaaaahhhhh germsss.." ran Eddie from the hospital room.
"Eds, you are a student from Med school and you are scared by a bug?!" ran Richie after him.
Mike went to the toilet and then he searched for Ben.
Beverly dragged Bill to the balcony.
"Why did you bring me here?" he asked
"I thought we should leave those lovebirds work things out. Now shut up and kiss me Denbrough"
Beverly took Bill's shirt and kissed him on his lips. He kissed her back passionately.
"I've missed this" said Beverly leaning her head on Bill's chest. He embraced her in his arms and kissed her head.
"Me too" smiled Bill. He kissed her again.
"I love you" he said.
"I love you too, Billy. Let's head back to Stan and the others." suggested Beverly
They went back to Stanley's room and the others were there.
"Where were you?" asked Richie smirking
" Nowhere....shut up Richie" said Bill looking annoyed.
A nurse came in and checked up on Stanley. Eddie was interested in what she was doing to his friend and he didn't notice that he was staring at Stanley's arm.
"Eddie, why are you staring?"  asked Richie
"I am a Med student. I have to practice if you want to save your miserable life." hissed Eddie
"Calm down, Eds. I was just asking. You are cute when you are angry." replied Richie
The nurse left and Eddie went back on Richie's lap.
Stanley's parents came as well, worried sick for their son who left without saying anything.
"The doctor told us what you did, Stanley! I am disappointed in you. Cutting, seriously?!! I thought you were better than that, but I was wrong. You are failure for this family." His dad said angrily
"Honey, leave him alone. If it's anyone to blame for his condition, it's us. We neglected and pressured him into something he didn't want to be." his mother jumped in her son's defence
"He is a failure and that's final!" He said and he left.
"I am so sorry, Stanley. Maybe it's for the best if you will go back to university. At least you will be away from that." his mother said and kissed his head.
"Okay.." replied Stan
Bill and the others decided that they have to get back to college as soon as the break was over.
