Chapter 18

They all arrived back in Derry at Bill's home.
Bill and Beverly were the first to enter the house.
Bill hugged her, then he kissed her.
"Billy, what are you doing?" she asked him
"I missed you, Bev." He said kissing her again.
Beverly returned the kiss.
"Come on, Bill, we have to wait for others." said Beverly
"Okay.." replied Bill.
Stan and Samantha arrived together since they study in the same college.
"How are you doing Stan? Feeling better?" asked Bill
"I am ok...still having nightmares, what about you?"
"Me too" said Beverly" I have nightmares every night" she continued
"Where are Richie and Eddie?" asked Bill concerned for his friends.
"Probably arguing like an old married couple." Stan laughed
"Yeah...probably" smiled Bill.

In Eddie's car
Richie and Eddie are arguing like always. It's their typical teasing and misunderstandings that take place almost everywhere.
"Eddie, even grandma drives faster than you do. Please, let me drive or Bill will think that we are dead." complained Richie
"No, I won't. I want us to get there safely. Let Bill think what he wants, but I won't drive faster." replied Eddie annoyed
Richie was watching on the window and saw old men in scooters driving faster than Eddie.
"Please, Eds, even scooters are driving faster than you."
"No, Richie."
The phone rang and Richie answered
"Hello Bill, yeah we are going to be late because someone can't drive faster. We are not dead yet." said Richie
Eddie rolled his eyes in annoyed.
Richie leaned to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"I love you Eds, drive us there. It doesn't matter if we are going there late." smiled Richie
"I love you too. I think I can drive faster this time. Only for you, my love" replied Eddie.
They arrived at Bill's house that night.
"Hey....We arrived" said Richie and Eddie. It was 2 am so everyone was asleep.
Beverly was downstairs drinking a glass of water.
"What are you doing here so late?" Beverly asked
"We just arrived" Eddie replied
Beverly walked them in one of Bill's spare room and went back in Bill's room.
Beverly took Bill in her arms and kissed his cheek.
" I love you..." she whispered in his ear.
In the other room Richie and Eddie were making out.
"Rich...let's not make any noise...we will wake the others"
"We won't, now kiss me" laughed Richie and continued to kiss him
Stanley and Samantha were talking about college.
"I am sorry that I dragged you into this." said Stanley
"Stanley, it's not big deal. I want to have adrenaline. Killing clowns might be fun." she laughed
"I am still afraid of Pennywise. Getting nightmares every night and I have bad thoughts about myself and I want to know if I have these thoughts because of the clown or because of me." he looked down
"Don't worry, Stan, I will be there for you no matter what." she kissed him on his cheek.
" I love it when you do that." Stan said.
" I know, now we sleep." Samantha said and got to sleep.

,,Samantha got  up and walked down to make dinner. A curly haired girl came downstairs yelling.
"Mommy, call daddy. I want to hug him." said the girl.
"Dad's in the bath....mom please tell him to come down." a teenager boy said
Samantha walked upstairs and entered the bathroom only to see an older version of Stanley lying down in the bathtub with split wrists. She let out a scream and the kids came upstairs and they were shocked to see their father dead.
"Stanley, no..." she cried..."
She woke up and started to cry. She looked next to her and saw a peaceful sleeping Stanley. Samantha hugged his back and kissed his head.

The next day, Bill and Beverly woke up the first and made breakfast for everyone. Samantha joined them. She was still upset about her nightmare.
"Are you okay?" asked Beverly
"No, I had a nightmare. Stanley killed himself in it. We had kids and ..." she cried
"Don't cry...once Pennywise is dead, everything will be fine." Beverly hugged her.
" What if we die?" asked Samantha
"We won't, as soon as we stay together." smiled Beverly
Eddie and Richie got downstairs both with messy hair and guilty looks.
Beverly smirked at them.
"So....Eddie, what did you do last night? I think I heard some screaming." asked Beverly
"Nothing.....just a spider" replied Eddie flustered.
Richie blushed and looked down in his meal.
