Remus was in possession of all he required, and Betelgeuse was ready to return home with £134 in his pocket, which he planned to give to Remus. He took a few deep breaths to settle himself a little after being out for a while which caused a small sensory overload, but overall, it was a fantastic excursion, and he felt incredible knowing that he was saving an innocent youngster from a horrific and tragic life, one that was similar to his own, if not worse. Betelgeuse walked out of the shop and noticed a sign for the toilets, so he went in and found an empty stall. With a snap of his fingers, he was back to his old self, and with another snap of his fingers, he was back home, eager to make sure Remus was safe and happy. He checked the time in his room and noticed that it was just after 12:30 o'clock. He hadn't realised he'd been out for two hours. His breathing became more rapid, so he calmed himself by playing with some blu tac he had on hand before creeping into the guest room and smiling when he found Remus soundly sleeping. Remus must've heard something since he moaned and stretched. As soon as his head hit the pillow and his eyes closed, he was asleep again.

"Aww. Are you a sleeby boi?" Betelgeuse asked jokingly, and the teen awoke again, chuckling and nodding. "How are you feeling?" the demon asked, sitting next to and stroking the teen's head.

"I'm good!" Remus stretched and tumbled out of bed.

"You want some food?"

"Brunch sounds good!"

"What is brunch? Can you teach me how to make it? Is it a British thing?"

"Nope! Brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch!"

"Oh right! It all makes sense! yeah." Betelgeuse laughed as he took Remus out of the room and into the kitchen.

"Oh god! Last night, I forgot to take my injection!" Remus was in a panic.

"Don't panic! I packed your injection! Just do it now!" Betelgeuse stated as he took out a needle bin, and an injection pen from his bag.

"Oh! Thanks!" Remus grinned and prepared his jabs. He sat on the kitchen side and lifted his shirt and injected the testosterone into his tummy before discarding them into the needle bin and taking his Thorazine and lithium tablets.

"Woah! I wouldn't have been able to do that at your age!" Betelgeuse praised.

"Thanks!"

"It's no issue. You'll be in my custody legally soon enough!"

"What?"

"Oh! I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you! I didn't want you to end up in another foster family, so I chose to adopt you. That is, if you'd like it!"

"You're kidding, right? That would be fantastic! Thank you!" Remus screamed and held the demon firmly, warmly thanking him.

"It's no problem! You do not have to address me as father. Just call me by my name!"

"Could I call you 'Uncle'?" Remus enquired.

"Yeah. Call me whatever you want!"

"Thank you, a bunch. You're the greatest!"

"Thanks!". They ended the hug, and Betelgeuse got to work cooking brunch for him and Remus, enlisting Remus's assistance. The two collaborated to prepare a Full English Breakfast. Betelgeuse was doing the bacon because Remus had informed him that it spat the oil and he didn't want him to get hurt any more than he already was. Remus also taught Betelgeuse how to make fried eggs without burning them. Somehow. The teen prepared sausages, beans and toast for everyone, and they both served brunch, the egg on toast with sausage, bacon and beans on the side and a glass of fresh orange juice. Betelgeuse yelled for Jacques and Ginger to join them at the dining room table, and they all sat down and tucked in, making compliments about how good it tasted.
