the player and the killer

It was a bright Saturday morning when a boy was siting in his bedroom with nice air conditioning reading a book....or at least he'd like to be. But no instead he was walking to a giant building to meet some people who were supposed to 'teach him'.

Ray had just moved with his mother to a new city for his mother's new 'work opportunity'. Because of the new move that meant ray had to change schools as well.

"What a pain" Ray thought to himself as he walked through the school gates. He noticed a girl with bright orange hair waving to him with a big smile.

"Heyyyy you must be Ray". She said and ran up to him. Ray nodded. "Great my names emma and I'll be showing you around" she said. her voice was loud and sounded like she was yelling at him so almost every time she spoke Ray would slightly flinch. Emma didn't notice him flich so she grabbed his hand and dragged him into the school building.

After a long tour and alot of yelling from emma Ray finally was back at his new house. It was a small old building that looked like No-one had lived in it in for like 50 years and it had small holes everywhere and no air conditioning.

He'd only been here for 3 days and he already hated it. The reason his mother made him move here was because of her new boyfriend Liam. Ray didn't like Liam one bit. It might have been because Liam wasn't nice to him or it was because he was protective of his mother but Ray thought the main reason he didn't like Liam was because Liam had killed someone. More like many. Liam was a serial killer. Ray new it and so did his mother. In fact Isabella helped Liam more then once with his killings.

Isabella was a criminal but she didn't do anything to big. In fact the biggest crime she did was when she kidnapped a girl and sold her on the black market. the girls name was conny.

She and Liam had meet after she pickpocketed a random man and he caught her. He tried killing Isabella but Liam killed the man instead and saved Isabella. After that they started dating and Liam asked Isabella to move in with him. He offered that but he didn't release that Isabella had a child. Once he met Ray he tried to convince her to either sell him off or to just abandon him on the streets but Isabella refused. She loved Ray to much. He was the only thing she had left of Leslie.

Leslie was rays father but he died in a car crash on the way to the hospital for rays birth. According to what Isabella had told ray Leslie had been a really nice guy. He new about Isabellas criminal actions but even though he never participated in any of her crime he was still there for her when she needed him. When he had found out he was going to be a father he was so happy. He had told Isabella that Ray could do anything he wanted and that she could teach him to do anything. Pickpocket shoplifting ec. The only thing he told her to never let Ray so was kill. So Isabella now dating a serial killer kinda made Ray really mad. True he had never meet his father but he knew from the stories Isabella told him he would not approve of Liam so Ray didn't either.

"Ray im home" Isabella called as she walked through the front door. "Hey mom" Ray said as he walked up to her and gave her a hug. He might not like Liam but he still loved his mother.

Sure to hit Ray with his elbow. "Oops".

Ray rubbed the spot Liam elbow hit and released his mother from the hug. Isabella grabbed rays hand and led him to the living room and they both sat down on the couch." So how was the tour of the school"?

"It was fine I guess. Just some loud girl draging me around". Isabella sighed. "Well at least now you know what the building looks like and hopefully you can make some nice friends ". "I doubt it". Ray said

"Yeah who would wanna be friends with him". Liam cut in walking into the room with a cigarette in his hands."he's so quiet no one would want to talk to him". Ray sighed and looked down at his hands in his lap. Isabella shot Liam a glare then put her hands on rays shoulder. "Liam is just messing with you im sure plenty of people would love to be your friend ".

Ray new she was just trying to make him feel better but he also new Liam was right. "Thanks mom but I'm really tired plus I have school tomorrow". Ray stood up and walked to his room. "Goodnight sweetheart" Isabella called to him and he just waved back.

Ray laid done in his bed and started up at his ceiling. "If only dad was still alive" he thought to himself. "I wouldn't have to be here and have to go to school here and I wouldn't have meet that annoying emma girl . I wouldn't have to deal with Liam. Dad if only you were here". That was the last thought he had before he drifted off to sleep.
